Traveler reviews
The tour of 3 very different temples is eye opening. From a nature overtaken temple, to a pyramid sky high temple (though the 160 steps were tough) and finally a very well preserved temple with highly detailed carvings of the 3 gods on multiple walls and tower entrances. Our guide was Makara and he was very well informed and had multiple stories explaining the temples and the formations. We learned a lot from him. Also because currently it is low tourist traffic period, we got upgraded to a private tour as well. The lunch break (only food, not drinks) was also included. The car ride is rather long due to the locations, do take note. Overall, highly recommended to join this tour to learn more of the other temples instead of just Angkor Wat.
The tour guide will contact you via WhatsApp using the phone number you provided (any country code is accepted). They will let you know your hotel location and arrange for round-trip transportation. Your guide, Jan, is an expert on Khmer history and mythology (and he's also a great photographer!). He'll help you appreciate not just the beautiful ruins, but also the grand Khmer culture and fascinating myths. The air-conditioned van will keep you cool, and they thoughtfully provide refreshing treats like ice water to beat the heat. Our driver, Lucky, is a skilled driver; he navigates the bumpy roads expertly to ensure a smooth and comfortable ride. Cambodia is safer than you might think, so be sure to explore the outer temples - you won't regret it!
Had an amazing trip with Veasa; he provided ice water and fruit, the schedule was well-planned, the weather was perfect, and the views were stunning.
Mr. Sa was a very very good guide, he was polite and spoke very good English, he gave us a detailed history of the building and gave us time to explore it. The driver was also very good and always had water, towels and snacks ready for us on the way! This part of the building is a must see when you come to Angkor, I would highly recommend Mr. Sa
An amazing experience! Our guide, Mr. Sa, was very professional and courteous. We departed at 7:30 AM for Koh Ker, where we visited the pyramid temple. Afterwards, we explored Beng Mealea in the pouring rain, and finally, we went to Banteay Srei (the Citadel of Women). Each site had a unique style that was captivating. I highly recommend visiting the outer temples; it's a completely different experience compared to the small circuit.
First tour and first visit and cambodia and we are off to a great start. upon pick up at the hotel, we were welcomed with cold water to start the day, we were greeted by Mr. Sa, our tour guide and driver who drove us around for the day. Mr. Sa was very well knowledged with the history of the temples we visited. considering the beat of cambodia is unmatched, i would like to appreciate this agency for the impecable service and attention to detail. after every temple we visit, we are given cold towels and cold water at the van and it was just amazing. it’s what we needed and we didn’t even ask for it. from a price point, this comes with an amazing Kmer lunch at one of the stops and it was amazing! my trip to Beng Mealea and Kor Ker was so amazing thanks to this. thank you Mr Sa for the lovely day!
A truly amazing private tour experience with our tour guide Mony and the driver Sal. It does worth a day to visit Banteay Seri, Koh Ker and Prasat Beng Mealea. Mony introduced the history and culture of the temple to us, we learned a lot from him. They also gave us cold water, clean cool towel and snacks, really appreciate that. Highly recommend this tour to everyone.
I had a tour with Makara as my guide, booked the day before. He was very thorough and made the tour fulfilling! I was worried about the heat and the long tour, but he provided water and fruit, and there were also toilet breaks, so it wasn't a problem. It's far, but the amazing ruins are worth visiting. Thank you, Makara!!
