We had such a wonderful experience with Evelyn! She made the class very friendly, engaging, and easy to follow. We loved going to the local market to pick fresh ingredients, it made the experience feel authentic. Cooking dishes like beef noodle soup originated from Central Vietnam(different from Pho), crispy pancake, beef fresh spring rolls, and fresh mango salad was so fun, and the bonus avocado ice cream (since it’s avocado season!) was a unique treat. Overall, it was a fun and memorable way to learn Vietnamese cooking like a local. Highly recommended!
Bora is a warmhearted and patient teacher. She could explain well the reason why every ingredient and seasoning is used in the dishes. She speak English with a quite authentic accent, which facilitates our communication. If you want to have a unique and local cooking experience, do not hesitate to participate in this workshop.
I went alone, but I didn't feel lonely because I was with 4 other people, and it was a lot of fun. Making the dishes myself, which I had only eaten at restaurants, made them taste even better. The market tour was short, but it was more refreshing because it was in a foreign country. I think if you take a cooking class like this during your trip, it will be more memorable, and the rest of your trip will be more enjoyable ^^ And the instructor was so kind and helpful that I had a great time in the cooking class~ And the taste was 👍👍👍 If you are thinking of a different trip to Da Nang, I highly recommend it.
I highly recommend this experience if you’re a foodie and want to learn about central Vietnamese cuisine. The guide was highly knowledgeable and informative. she gave us lots of useful tips on cooking. The food was good and it was interesting to see the market
A nice cooking experience with Bora. We picked the morning session and started at 9am, we first went to the market to shop the ingredients. Then cooked 5 dishes together in the group of 5. The whole session lasted around 4 hours including enjoying the meal after cooking.
My husband and I decided to do a second cooking class (we did a different company class in Hoi An the day before) and am glad we chose this one. The dishes were mostly different to the dishes we cooked elsewhere and we learnt new techniques. The food was delicious. It had more modern facilities than the class we had the day before. She even let me pack the left over food to bring back to my family. They also give you a certificate at the end along with the recipes, A great activity - I highly recommend it.
Jenny was an excellent instructor and we enjoyed the cooking class a lot. We learned much and had the opportunity to listen to explenations and traditions. great start in our travel journey to get to know the Vietnamese cuisine and culture.
I had an unforgettable experience taking this class. The instructor Daisy and her helper were very professional, attentive and friendly. I learned how to make 4 main dishes and a dessert. After finishing the class I was offered plum wine which was super delicious. I love Vietnamese food. I highly recommend taking this class if you come to Da nang.
Love the whole experience, Da nang was raining heavily the day we went here so it’s a great indoor activity that will take up 3-4 hours. We went to the wet market to shop and Mim was super nice to introduce the ingredients in great english and there were lots of interractions with the people there. Food was amazing and we made 5 classical dishes and the whole cooking class was full of laughters overall it was great, would recommend to friends!!
I am a solo traveler and luckily found this activity that doesn't require a minimum of 2 persons (unlike others). I arrived at the location with just me as the participant! So it was a 1-on-1 cooking class, which was perfect! My instructor Blue was knowledgeable and professional. From touring me down the market and on the actual cooking, she really made sure I was experiencing it like a Vietnamese local. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Da Nang.
