Reviews
The museum is huge, so the audio guide was extremely useful for making the most of my visit. I highly recommend downloading it before entering, since the mobile signal inside is not very reliable. A great feature of the app is that you can adjust the audio playback speed to suit your preference.
Rate the audio guide only!! Since the reception in the Louvre isn't the best, there's no automatic location detection. This means that because you can move freely (no prescribed tour route), there's no structure, and you don't even know which room you're in (not the audio guide's problem, but the Louvre's). The room numbers aren't in the guide. But there is a "rough" way to orient yourself, through the existing naming of individual sights. Perhaps the room numbers should also be assigned to the sights (button bottom left), then orientation will be easier. The information is great and the way it's presented is entertaining and interesting!! I would still give a clear recommendation, even if it was a bit bumpy!! Gladly again!! 🥹🥹
Convenient and fast access to the navigation page. It is recommended to download and open it before entering, otherwise the signal will deteriorate inside.
It was a great experience. I will come again next time. If I have time and money, the queue won't be too long in winter. I will arrive in no time.
Very convenient, just download and use.
It's a shame that only 45 points of interest have explanations, but the explanations are very detailed, and there's also historical background provided, with pleasant voiceovers. The price is also excellent value for money.
The guide only covers the Denon Wing. Well, it covers the main points, so it's not bad. It's true that it's better to have a guide, because it helps you understand and appreciate the paintings. However, the direction is automatically fixed during the guide, so your location information is confused. It's hard to use, as you might get lost.
I didn't know how to use it, so I went around without using it. It may have been mentioned in the information sent to me in advance, but it was the first time I'd had trouble with a reservation system overseas, so I think it was a little difficult to understand.
This is the worst. It says to download an app, but it doesn't say which app, and there isn't even a link. After struggling for a while, I just went in. There's no way to ask for help... I can't believe they sell this kind of thing. After reading other reviews, it seems the content isn't very good either, so I'm not even disappointed. If you want to sell a product, you should at least make the instructions easily accessible. In this day and age, who tells you to download something without even including a link? At the very least, you should put the app name so we can download it, right? I wish I could give it zero stars, but I'm giving it one just to leave a review.
The Louvre itself is vast, and there are so many artifacts and works on display that it can be a bit tiring and expensive, but I highly recommend taking a tour with a guide. That is, if you have the stamina to walk around for about three hours while listening to explanations, haha.
