What to expect
In this workshop, you will create a gift for someone special while actually touching and learning the techniques of Japanese traditional culture. These are one-of-a-kind Japanese paper crafts made with Japanese paper (washi) and origami! The “Hanahime” washi doll with a Japanese-made stationery ballpoint pen is perfect as a unique and special gift. You can also choose and create another type of craft you like (bookmark, amulet bag, washi notebook, or goshuin stamp book). Additionally, you will receive a souvenir of handmade crafts! After the workshop, you will also be awarded a “certificate of completion,” so you can proudly teach in your own country. ❶ Cost-effectiveness: You can experience multiple Japanese traditional crafts at once within 90 minutes. The ability to choose the craft you want to make is also attractive. In addition, participants will receive a souvenir of handmade crafts and a certificate of completion, making this a cost-effective plan for participants. We offer a valuable experience at a reasonable price. ❷ Flexible Support: A program that can accommodate a wide range of people and needs, from individuals to groups. It is characterized by the ease with which various group configurations can participate, such as families with children, friends, and couples. ❸ Certificate Included: A certificate of completion is awarded to prove understanding and acquisition of techniques in Japanese traditional culture. You can confidently teach in your own country. ❹ Japanese-style atmosphere with a drink set: The instructor will teach while wearing a kimono or kimono apron, allowing participants to enjoy a Japanese-style atmosphere. Includes a choice of drinks and a pudding dessert. ❺ Program for children: We also offer workshops that children can enjoy, making it possible for the whole family to participate. There is also a cute kids’ space that children will love.
❻ Good Access: A 3-minute walk from Asakusa Station (Tsukuba EXP). The popular Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple are also nearby, making it a very convenient location. The store is a healing space filled with cute Japanese characters (stuffed animals) and flowers.

Reviews
I was nervous at first because I was the only male participant, but Mr. Hoshino carefully taught me how to fold washi paper and how to choose the right paper. I became friends with the other participants and we even talked about traveling together. Also, the stamp book I made by pasting washi paper on it this time has a very Japanese feel, so I immediately went to the nearby Meiji Shrine to get a stamp. I'm very satisfied.
Nice afternoon to understand the art of origami & washi. It is relaxation and educational of making it. Very hospitable and fun workshop.
Thank you so much for this beautiful fun activity, I enjoyed so much and will definitely visit again 💖100/100
I came here with my family, and the experience was truly amazing!! I wish I knew enough Japanese to write this review properly, but I have to praise those in charge of the experience. The ladies running it were so kind and welcoming. The place is well-kept and decorated, which provided a comfortable atmosphere. The instructor made the instructions easy to follow, and, if it is of any concern, her English is also proficient, making communication comfortable. They offer a wide variety of paper designs and are very flexible and understanding of customers' preferences. The services were generous, providing a treat or drink with the experience, which was well-made and tasted great too! This experience is perfect for winding down and enjoying the opportunity to craft things you may not make every day, using materials unique to the place and culture. Another moment to recognize the kindness of the ladies running the experience. They were incredibly generous and accommodating.
This excursion was put on by wonderful women who went above and beyond. We participated as a family and had a wonderful time and received great souvenirs. One our daughter's favorite things that we did in Tokyo. They really care too; when we left some items behind they went above and beyond to ship the lost items back to Canada. Highly recommended.
