Chongqing Wulong Three Natural Bridges + Longshui Gorge Fissure/Xiannyushan National Forest Park One-Day Tour

I booked this day trip for May 2026. Overall, great experience. What's good: (1) Tour guide. Efficient, always looking out for us, knowledgeable and tells us enough about Chongqing and the three bridges and longshui gorge tour (without overwhelming us). (2) Place and experience. Beautiful naturescapes, lots of photo opportunities (by yourself and there are also official photographers who take free photos for you for souvenirs). (3) Safety and convenience. Felt safe throughout in the mountains as safety features like barricades, signs, safety reminders through speakers are in place. Good infrastructure (toilets, lighting, mountain lifts, walking paths, signs, etc.). (4) Breaks & food. Enough breaks during bus journey (for toilet, grab food/drink, etc.). What to note: (1) Tour guide speaks Mandarin with basic English. Communicates through WeChat now and then through tour and you can translate). (2) Expect lots of walking (you can easily clock 15,000 steps) at both locations.

Action packed itinerary for the top sights around Chong Qing. Get ready for early pick up at hotel around 6:30am and drop off around 9pm at jiefangbei. Bring a pair of good walking shoes and some food to eat on the journey - walking heavy. views at the attractions are gorgeous and worth the journey. Make sure to take the optional 15RMB at the last mile of the 3 bridges and the 25RMB for the train on the mountains.

The trip was very enjoyable and got to see many great wonders of Chongqing! I I booked a large tour group on three natural bridges + Longshui Gorge Ground Seam Scenic Area. The day trip tour was fantastic although this trip package was Mandarin speaking as listed. Arriving at the scenic areas, you can walk independently from the tour guide as long as you finish the walk tracks and meet at a designated point. For non chinese speakers, bring some sort of live translation device if you are purchasing this package.

I traveled with 5 friends, and we met two more travel companions, a mother and daughter from Singapore, who helped translate from Chinese to English. The evening before our trip, the staff added us on WeChat and picked us up at 7:00 AM sharp in front of the hotel. The driver drove slowly and provided recommendations for everything we visited. However, they never interfered with us, giving us plenty of time at each attraction. We were often late because we misjudged the time, especially during the strenuous hike through the Heavenly Pit scenic area, where we were an hour behind schedule. Despite this, the driver waited and even sent us the GPS coordinates to walk to the parking lot, saving us the tram fare (though I recommend taking the tram, it's only 15 yuan). For lunch, they took us directly to a restaurant, and we could order whatever we liked. Overall, it was excellent and very private, much better than a large group tour; otherwise, we would have surely fallen behind. The car dropped me back at the hotel around 9 PM. I highly recommend it!

I participated in the bus tour. The tour guide, Xiao Chen, was very helpful and would proactively help take photos, and the attraction introductions were detailed. A bus was sent to pick us up near the hotel to the meeting point. This trip does not include the transfer vehicle from Tiankeng to Difeng, which requires an additional fee of 75 RMB. The Tiankeng glass platform + watching the video requires an additional fee of 90 RMB, which are all optional and at your own discretion. I suggest not watching the video. Also, please set up a WeChat account to contact the tour guide. The lunch was ordinary. It is also recommended to only arrange Tiankeng and Difeng in one day. If you add Fairy Mountain or Wujiang Gallery, the itinerary will be very rushed. Therefore, this itinerary is just right with only Tiankeng and Difeng. p.s. Walking through Difeng is really tiring. If you have elders, please consider carefully.

This was one of the best excursions of our lives! I would especially like to mention Tan, our guide, who, aside from being a good person with a true passion for his profession, is number one in his field. He made sure we had an unforgettable experience! Detail-oriented, dedicated, hardworking, with wonderful energy... I wish everyone could be lucky enough to have him as their guide on this trip! The Three Natural Bridges are spectacular, but the Longshuixia Fissure is a truly unique place in the world! Spectacular natural waterfalls, the concept of a linear route is super well organized (always moving forward, which avoids crowds and many problems). If anyone is reading this review and is considering whether or not to take the excursion... don't hesitate, every Yuan spent was worth 1000% the price, and the experience is a 20 out of 10. Excursions in Europe at this price don't even come close in any aspect.

From planning the day before, to the actual trip, all were perfectly organized. We could not speak / read Chinese, so the translation functions on WeChat was really helpful !! 2. Pick up at our hotel right on time at 7.30 AM by the driver Mr 莫多叹 Given. 3. Driving to destinations were all smooth and safe, first stop at the Wujiang Observation Deck was very nice and relaxed. 4. Next, on the major sites, Mr 莫多叹 Given walked with us, helped with all tickets and ID/passport scans. 5. After our entrance cleared, we were allowed around 4 hours total time free to explore, at the magnificent Wulong Mountain Three Natural Bridges, and the Longshui Gorge Scenic Walks. 6. The return trip to our hotel was also safe and smooth, all were tired, but sure we were very happy we had this trip !!! Hope one day we can visit Chongqing again. Thank you !! 99 Stars !!! *********

I would definitely recommended taking this trip, both natural places are breathtaking. China is really beautiful country. Even if you don't speak Chinese, you will have your guide's WeChat, so you will be able to communicate through translating your messages. My guide Xiao Huang was attentive and responsive. As I mentioned, Wulong is mesmerizing. For additional price you can visit the glass observation panel, do it if you are not scared of heights, I tried and it was awesome. About the 7D virtual tour, hmm, absolutely would NOT recommend if I am honest, it wasn't anything well made or informative. Anyway, wishing you a pleasant experience.

Our tour guide, Xiaohuangren, was excellent and provided very detailed explanations. The Three Natural Bridges and the Longshui Gorge in Wulong, Chongqing, are undoubtedly among the most magnificent natural wonders in southwestern China. - *The Three Natural Bridges* consist of three towering natural limestone bridges. The deep and majestic valleys feel like the work of giants, leaving visitors in awe of the wonders of creation. - *The Longshui Gorge* is known for its narrow and deep crevices. Walking along the plank road through it feels like entering the center of the earth. The cool breeze and flowing water create a natural air conditioning system. Overall, this scenic area not only has geological value but is also full of poetic beauty and awe-inspiring sights, making it an excellent destination for exploring the power of nature.

The Wulong Karst includes spectacular karst features and landscapes, both exceptional phenomena, and of outstanding aesthetic quality. It features giant collapse depressions, called Tiankeng, and exceptionally high natural bridges between them, with long stretches of deep unroofed caves.The main tourist zone of Wulong Karst spans over 60 square kilometers, including three separate scenic areas: Three Natural Stone Bridges, Longshuixia Gap, and Furong Cave. The first two scenic spots are only 13km apart while Furong Cave is about 40km away from them.
