While ramen may have originated in China, the Japanese version of the noodle soup has grown to stand on its own two legs internationally in recent years. Learn the in-depth history of this dish’s journey across borders and how it has evolved into the flavors that are now so loved. Join Shu, a professional ramen chef, in a real ramen restaurant in Osaka. Begin with a 15-minute introduction to essential ingredients and tools, then enjoy a 30-40 minute hands-on cooking session guided by the chef. Choose from 4 types of ramen, from broths made of soy sauce, chicken and even clams. Torch chashu, prepare toppings, cut eggs with thread, and boil noodles to perfection. While you won’t make noodles from scratch, you’ll cook in an authentic ramen kitchen and savor your creation alongside the chef!

Reviews
What a great experience! Shu-san is very kind and funny and explained everything in detail! The whole experience is easy to follow and you get to try to build your ramen. The broth is already made since it takes many hours to make, and it tasted amazing! One of the best I’ve had! I definitely recommend this class.
super fun class with Shu. it was a treat to be able to prepare and cook ramen in a real ramen shop. it's a great way to spend an hour in Osaka. Shu speaks English very well and he is a great host. We had a great time with him and it's something my son will remember very well.
I really like ramen so I booked this class to see what the process is like from start to finish. Shu did such an amazing job explaining background information on ramen, the types of broth, and many other time consuming processes that go into making ramen the special dish that it is. He even gave a little insight into his own personal life, which was heartwarming and inspirational. I definitely recommend booking this experience with Shu because it is not only informative but also very fun. He puts a lot of effort into making the class as best as it can be, so it is worth supporting a local businessman like Shu.
Very fun and an experience! Owner and his family were super nice and welcoming. They speak pretty good english which was great as well. the ramen itself was great as well id come back to just eat the ramen. Highly recommend please support their bussiness!
This was such an amazing experience. Shu was so accomodating, and so was his family. It was so cool to get behind the kitchen counter and learn how he cooks and prepares the ramen. The ramen itself was one of the best I’ve eaten whilst being in Japan, but topping it off with the experience and the class, that pushes it to #1.
My husband and I had a great time! We got to learn about the different components to ramen, and got to help with cooking our own dishes. Great customer service from both staff. Definitely glad we got to tick this experience off our bucket list - highly recommend!
I 100% would recommend this cooking class! It’s a close and personal experience to learn how to make ramen and discover the technical preparation for the ramen 🍜 Our teacher was a legend and made the experience so fun!
We had a great time during the ramen class. The host was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Even introducing us to his family, which made the experience very wholesome. Learnt alot about how much effort goes into the preparation of all the ingredients. Only comment I could make, as someone with an interest it cooking, it would have been nice to get more hands on with the preparation of the ingredients - eg making the noodles. However, as I learnt during the course, several items take hours to make so wouldn't be suitable for a class. All in all, had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone at any level of kitchen skills! My friend can barely cook an oven pizza and he still enjoyed himself :)
I booked a ramen making class on Klook 🍜🧑🏻🍳🫶🏻 It was a great experience~~It lasted about an hour! The boss Shu is very warm and friendly, a very nice person, and can communicate in English! The explanation is very detailed✨ You can eat the ramen right after cooking! Chicken white soup ramen is delicious! recommend!
Teacher Xiu is very enthusiastic and humorous. We are the first people from Northeast China to talk to him, and we talked about many topics with regional characteristics. Although the store is small, it is very warm, just like in a cartoon, making people want to embrace the fireworks. The teacher's teaching process does not seem like teaching, but more like sharing what he loves with friends. In short, it is a pleasant and unforgettable experience!
