Official Japan Go-Kart in Shibuya/Shinjuku/TokyoTower by JAPANKART

I highly recommend this 2-hour go-karting experience around the central district of Tokyo! Check-in was super easy and the staff were super welcoming! There were a variety of costumes to choose from and we were offered a phone-mount so we can record our experiences along the way! We watched a quick safety video beforehand and then we were escorted downstairs for a quick demonstration of the go-kart’s controls and do’s and don’ts. And then off we go! I also highly recommend to book for late afternoon/early night reservations so you can see all of the buildings with their lighting on! There will be a lead and trailing car to escort and protect you along the way. Don’t worry if a yellow light stopped you from passing the intersection as a staff on a motorbike and trailing car can take you to the group. The staffs also take awesome pictures of you along the way. There was a quick restroom break at the Tokyo Tower park, so feel free to stretch out and take a glimpse at the tower! Thank you!

A great tour with great leaders. Well run with a thrill of negotiating intense Tokyo Traffic. They provide chest mounts for phones to film and take plenty of pics. My only issue was the Karts were clunky. Mine the idle was moving around and the clutch engaging was violent.

What an experience we had! Instructions were clear and our guide was awesome! It was all positive experience and great memories. This is a must activity if you are visiting Japan. Their moped karts are sick and clean, good for pictures. They also provide chest mount phone holder so you dont have buy to dont need to buy your own.

Cruising through the city streets side by side, dressed up and laughing like kids again, felt incredibly special. Everything was smooth from start to finish—the team was friendly, organized, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. The route gave us such a unique view of the city, and we loved every second of it. After 25 years together, it’s not always easy to find something that feels totally new and exciting—but this truly was. Grateful for the memories and already smiling just thinking about it 💛

Was very well taken care of by their crew. A vehicle in front guiding us and another at the end making sure we're all safe on the road. Quick briefing before starts, all in english. Easy to understand.

They walked us through how to drive the karts, guided us in a smooth formation through the city, and even took tons of awesome photos throughout the ride. Driving through Shibuya Crossing in a go-kart felt surreal—it’s something I’ll never forget. This experience is part sightseeing, part adrenaline rush, and 100% worth it. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Tokyo who wants to try something totally different and unforgettable!

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to the whole team for an incredible night! I’ve had many experiences in my life, but I can honestly say this was 100% the best one yet. I would do it again and again on every future trip to Tokyo! Everything felt surreal, like being on a movie set. One thing to note: the tour actually lasts much longer than the 1.5 to 2 hours mentioned. The preparation, guidance, and costume changes aren't included in the driving time, which is great! Just make sure to allow extra time in your schedule. We spent a full 1.5 hours driving around the city. Personally, I preferred the less crowded streets where we could go faster, but I understand that driving through Shibuya is iconic and a must-see. The team was professional, well-organized, and even took photos of us. Be ready to feel like a star - everyone on the street waves and films you as you go by! :)
