Kanchanaburi River Kwai Bridge and Elephant Bathing Day Tour by Yusabai

The elephant camp had elephants in chains, including a mother who was visibly distressed at not being able to reach her baby. I would rate this tour 5 stars if it was an elephant sanctuary instead.

Not just 5/5 Stars but 10/5 Stars for me, especially our Tourist guide Ms. Dao was very joyful, accomodating and thoughtful with everyone, and also our driver too. This is my first time as solo traveler and will surely not my last, I will be back and bring my family here.

The tour guide is a local Thai named Awei, but his Chinese is fluent, he is very kind during the process, and he also reminds and exhorts. Jasmine Ancient City is very beautiful and easy to take pictures, but there are a lot of mosquitoes. Although the elephant park is a bit commercialized, the surrounding environment is very natural, and being able to have such close contact with elephants is a rare experience.

the transportation took almost 6 hours return, booking a tour is so much easier. it was a small group, the minivan was fine. the highligh was the elephant camp! worth to spend a day in Kanchanaburi! we went to all the spots and it was not too crowded which was great!

I have requested for refund 48 hours before the schedule of the tours after learning that the tour will cause delay in our return flight to our country. We are fine to proceed with the tour as long as Klook is willing to shoulder the expenses that we will incur if we proceed with the tour and will be delayed with our flight. I even reach out with the local tour company and they agree as long as Klook approves it. Apparently, after a series of request to cancel and refund, Klook staff refuse to process my request without explanation, they just left the conversation and until now we are still waiting for update. I just hope that Klook knows what to do with this case. We have been your customers for so long and I hope you know how to show some decency.

The itinerary is rich, and you can visit many famous attractions in a short period of time: the railway to experience the style, the ancient city as a pastime and relaxation, and the elephant camp experience is the highlight of the itinerary, where you can get close contact with big and small elephants, and satisfy a variety of things at once. The package price is very reasonable. Although it was a bit of a quick tour and the time was running out, the tour guide gave a thorough explanation and was able to directly understand the history, culture and key points.

With a tour guide and driver arranged, you can safely walk through Kanchanaburi. Every minute of the 12 hours is exciting and highly recommended. You can bring your swimsuit if you get wet when you go to the Elephant Garden. There is a clean washing room available on site.

Our guide, Dao, was very cheerful and we had a lot of fun talking to him! We were the only other participants from the Chinese region, so he even took the trouble to speak to us in English, which we were very grateful for. The other participants were also friendly, so I think it made the trip even more enjoyable. We learned about history, had fun with the elephants, and it was a great memory. However, at the end, I felt bad that the baby elephant's legs were chained, and I felt sorry for him. Also, if you participate in playing in the water with the elephants, we recommend that you bring a towel, a change of clothes, and a swimsuit. It's not a recommendation, but please bring it!
