Kamikochi, Shirakawa-go, and Takayama 2 Days Bus Tour from Osaka

on 23 June, it rained heavily when we went to Shirakawa-go. but it is still nice anyway. and due to the heavy rain, guide could confirm on 24 Jun in the morning that road was opened to Kamikochi. I was so happy. good choice!

We had been Japan 4 times. Finally we made it to visit this beautiful and peaceful landscape in Japanese Alps. We took less than 3 hours walking the trail and had 1/2 hour to enjoy coffee nearby the bridge. Definitely we will be back again and plan to stay a night here.

Opened up my experience with a local tour organized by HIS Company. It was great. They prepared a pamphlet written in English. The time signs were clear. There was a break every 2 hours. The time was right to get off and visit each place. The accommodation was in an onsen near Kamikochi. However, it was quite old. There were some stains. It was a bit stuffy. But the view and the onsen were okay.

The Umeda meeting point is not far from JR Fukushima Station and is easy to find. The tour bus is clean and air-conditioned enough to keep you cool. The itinerary was well organized and there was plenty of time for sightseeing. Okamoto Onsen Hotel is located in Hirayu Onsen, but the hotel rooms are relatively old. The biggest problem is that there is no air conditioning and only an electric fan. Fortunately, it rained on the night we checked in, so the outdoor temperature dropped slightly and the windows were opened to dissipate heat. The food provided by the hotel for dinner and breakfast was not of the right taste, but it was passable. Overall, the feeling is very good.

A very enjoyable 2 day, 1 night trip to Shirakawago, Kamikochi and Takayama. The Transportation was reliable and the guide is very accommodating and very professional. Accommodation was enough to have a good rest after a day of travel from Osaka. The food was also amazing. Set dishes, enough to make you energized for the rest of the day's activities. Fairly priced. Highly recommended for a hassle-free, worry-free trip from Osaka.

Overall, it’s very good. I hope I can have more time to explore the Gassho Village itinerary on the first day.

If you go these days, the leaves are just changing color, and it's not too cold. I think the time spent at each attraction is just right. The hotel rooms are a bit small, and there are occasionally small insects! Breakfast and dinner suit our tastes quite well. Our tour guide, Ms. Sakura, was also very nice!

Tour is very goods to visit popolar place within two days but it have less time on each location. Local guide can speak english but most of traveller are local if you can accept it. It will be very good tour.
