Paramotor Experience in Chiang Mai by UPPER in the Air

The experience was amazing from start to end. We were scheduled to get picked up at 3.30PM and our ride arrives on time. We reached the site and was given water and they have prepared all the things we would need. Shades, camera and your suit. The company will provide a gopro to record your experience and will give the copy to you after the flight. I brought my own camera so they let me use it. The flight was a bit more than 15 minutes and it was amazing, it felt safe and the view is stunning. We took the afternoon flight as I have read in the reviews that morning flight is a bit foggy but as per the staff it depends on the weather. After the flight, we were given certificate and the staff took photo of us and send us back to our hotel. It was really the highlight of our Chiang Mai trip, will definitely recommend to friends.

I went for the experience in the afternoon session. The driver, staff, and pilots were all kind and warm, making it a very comfortable experience from beginning to end. It's a good atmosphere even if you go alone. Everyone took good care of me, and everyone in my session was a solo traveler... haha. Before the flight, they gave me a GoPro and a lanyard to keep my personal phone from flying away during the flight, so I could film safely. Since I was riding with the pilot, I could enjoy it without fear and with peace of mind, and they checked on me frequently during the flight, which made me trust them even more. Above all, the view of the layered mountains of Chiang Mai from the sky was really beautiful. It was a wonderful moment that I will remember for the rest of my life. After the flight, they took detailed photos of the landing scene and certificate presentation ceremony, and I was happy to receive the GoPro video taken during the flight right away. The video size is over 3GB, so I recommend securing storage space in advance. It was a really satisfying experience, and I would love to fly over the skies of Chiang Mai again if I have the chance!

Definitely 1 of my highlights in Chiangmai. Was a little nervous at first but the guide really knows how to calm me down. 2-way transport was provided from/to the hotel. Everything was smooth & had 1 of the best moments in 2025. The flight time was about 15 minutes (mine was slightly longer). It was really comfortable too & less scarier than a typical paragliding. The sunset view from above was breathtaking & the experience was chill as well (no stress induced). We were also given a phone strap to bring our phone up & provided a gopro to record the entire experience which they will transfer the video over to your phone after the activity. At the end of the activity, a certificate was provided too. Highly recommend to try this while in Chiangmai with this company. 👍

A great experience that I would definitely repeat, beautiful views. Everything was great, the instructor was very friendly, everything was very safe, they even let you use a GoPro so you can record your entire flight. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Superb experience! From hotel pickup to arriving at the place and going up in the air and hotel drop off, the whole experience is just AMAZING! The equipment is clean and they provide the GoPro footage free-of-charge too! in terms of responsiveness, they are responsive with emails as well and reply rather quickly with updates on pick up timing etc. Highly recommended!

It was an AWESOME 15 minutes experience! From fear to excitement flying high in the sky. Seeing the morning sun while gliding in just different. The instructor skills is awesome too! Feel totally safe! Never regret the decision!

Unforgettable Paramotor Experience with UPPER in the air – Chiang Mai We had an excellent paramotor experience in Chiang Mai with UPPER in the air. The entire process was smooth and well organised, including free land transfer with two cars arranged for our group of 5 flyers and 1 viewer. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, and even provided light snacks and drinks, which was a thoughtful touch. The pilots were highly experienced and explained all safety procedures clearly, making everyone feel confident and comfortable. The flight itself was amazing, with breathtaking views and smooth take-off and landing. Our 11-year-old daughter also flew, and the team was patient and reassuring, ensuring she felt safe and enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended for a safe, memorable adventure in Chiang Mai.

there were 3 of us when we joined the activity, is about 30-40 mins away from the old city. the lady boss fetched us from the hotel at 6.30 am and the another person before going to the site. the site is a field with 2 paramotor operating that day. the duration was about 20 minutes with campro provided. it is pretty cold when we fly up. and you can see the surrounding from bird eye view. they did try to put both paramotor as near to each other as possible for photo taking, but I was a bit nervous and scare with both “balloon” will clash. overall is a nice and exiting experience for me

one ot the more affordable paramotor experiences in Chiang Mai. I was surprised that i was the only there considering that this deal is way cheaper than others. The location has excellent view. The staff were all friendly and helpful specially in taking videos and photos. Highly recommended !

The staff arrived promptly at the hotel at 6 AM to pick me up and take me to the destination. Setup was completed quickly, and I was ready to hop on the powered paraglider. The instructor was very professional, and the entire flight experience was stable, so I wasn't very scared. Being able to enjoy the views of the fields and forests from high above was well worth trying.
