God is good! I learned so much about the Last Supper, the mayor and the Duomo (which means Cathedral). Our guide Chiara was informative and funny. She has a gift for remembering where everyone is from and made sure we were all accounted for. We were on our feet for 3 hrs, but we didn’t walk too fast or far. Great tour! Photos of where we met (to the left of the front door of the church), a friendly man checking us in and giving us a listening device, Chiara showing us how Leonardo put his self portrait in the photo, a pretty tree-lined street and walking down the street with our group.
It's a privilege to see "The Last Supper" in person! This guided tour is a smart choice, as it saves you the hassle of securing tickets and includes a guide who explains several downtown attractions. Some members of our group, due to limited time, chose to view the painting with the tour for the first 30 minutes and then departed. If you also have limited time but still wish to see the famous painting with your own eyes, this guided tour is a good option to consider.
A very hot day but very informative and the highlight was The Last Supper, so moving
The tour guide's explanation was excellent. Many attractions require a guide's commentary to truly appreciate them, and the walking tour with the guide was a fantastic experience!
Amazing tour with informative tour guide. We got lost in the middle of the walking tour, it seemed like some tourists only wanted to see The Last Supper, so there were people leaving after that part, and after we got some coffee and went back to the meeting point, the group left without us. It took us some time to catch up with them at the castle. In general it was still quite nice.
The tour guide was very responsible and took care of whether the group members were following. The instructions were very detailed. The Last Supper shocked us and was worth participating in.
The meeting point is in front of Our Lady of Grace Church. The staff holds a sign saying Wander in Italy and just ask him to check in. (The meeting information on the website is insufficient). The whole trip takes about 3.5 to 4 hours. Walking the whole way is a bit tiring. Travelers with elders and children should think twice.
The tour guide arrived promptly 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the church entrance. The 11:45 AM session actually started at 12:15 PM to see "The Last Supper," which was very moving and worthwhile! The subsequent walking tour lasted about two hours, and many people left gradually along the way, making it a relaxed and stress-free itinerary.
dont worry if you cannot find the guide up on arrive. she/he will show up for sure, looking for this guy and that's it!. Marshella, ours guide, really friendly and can give you an information you need.
The walk tour really goes very deep into Milan's history, a lot of places are not as well known (merchant square for example) but the guide is very professional to explain the history behind them. It is a really rewarding tour and definitely worth the price. The guide is also very friendly and gives out a lot of suggestions where we should visit during our stay. I enjoy it very much!
