Hanbok Experience with Photographer at Gyeongbokgung

This hanbok and photography experience was a real highlight for us! Even though we arrived early, they welcomed us warmly. The shop was clean, and their hanboks were beautiful and well-maintained. The aunties were very friendly and attentive. They helped us match outfits for our family of four, added winter outerwear for us ladies, styled our hair with accessories, and provided traditional shoes and props like a sword for my son and bags for us — all at no extra charge. My daughter looked like a little princess, and my son looked like a gracious young prince. Our photographer, Junjie, truly elevated the experience. He was professional, patient, and made us feel comfortable right from the start. His gentle guidance on posing really helped. He brought us around to capture a wide range of scenes from nature corners to majestic palace structures, ensuring every shot felt unique. We felt fully taken care of, and the session was fun, relaxed, and incredibly memorable. Highly recommended!

《Hanbok, Makeup Styling, Professional Photography》 I booked a photoshoot for 12 noon and made sure to arrive fifteen minutes early. The makeup artist started by applying a base, carefully concealing stubborn dark circles, then applied false eyelashes, drew eyeliner, and finally added light lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow. The overall makeup was natural and refined. The enthusiastic staff member helped me choose a Hanbok. I chose a sapphire blue long skirt, paired with a short, pure white top, for a simple and elegant look. The hairstylist designed a princess-style hairstyle for me, and I set off with an excited heart. I met the photographer, Junjie, at the entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace. He was not only professional but also very meticulous. It was the peak season for autumn foliage, and although there were many tourists, he was able to sensitively capture light and angles and find less crowded corners, allowing me to freely show my smile. During the shoot, he constantly guided my poses and expressions, allowing me to completely relax. The photos turned out natural and touching, and I am very grateful to Junjie.

We had the most amazing time with Junjie!! He was fabulous to work with and really pulled out our personalities while shooting and gave us help with poses. We loved the images and would definitely work with again!! The hanbok rental was fun and the hair stylists made us look our best!! A very fun experience and a must do on your visit to South Korea!!!

Amazing experience! Everyone in the Hanbok shop was accommodating and friendly. I liked my make-up (I don’t do make-up). The photoshoot was enjoyable, Junjie was fun and very good! I highly recommend this experience.

We booked an outdoor hanbok photoshoot with makeup. The Place was crowded since it is weekend but i still got nice shots. The Photographer was really good at teaching poses. He has a good set of accessories lended to us for photoshoot and he has a Good set of lenses for a professional photographer. Special thanks to our photographer Junjie. If you want to have the same photos you can request him to be your photographer. Safety: Absolutely safe. Location: Gyeongbokgung Palace Female make up experience - The foundation was not blended well with the skin so I look like a geisha, it might be because she was in a hurry to cater other favored customer but the Second make up artist was Great though.

I've always loved the cinematic, magazine-like quality of Korean family photos. I never imagined our family of three's family portrait could be captured so movingly. Thank you to photographer Junjie for recording this stage of our happiness. Under his lens, we didn't need exaggerated poses or complicated backgrounds, only clean light and shadow and the love in our eyes for each other. The photographer captured everything perfectly: Dad's gentle gaze, Mom's smile, and our child's pure sense of dependence. We had a great experience at Hanbok Star. The place was clean with good variety of hanboks in different styles and colours, sizes available even for taller girls. The accessories were beautiful and included at no extra charge. The photographer Junjie was exceptional – attentive, friendly, made us feel very comfortable throughout the photoshoot. He brought own accessories to enhance the pictures and gave plenty of advice on poses and expressions. He photographer spent a generous amount of time with us and made hundreds of photos. We are very happy about the quality of pictures! Highly recommended!

The Hanbok and photo shooting were a memorable experience for my family! The agent contacted us via the selected messaging app a few days before the shooting. The Hanbok rental is very close to the Palace. The staff could speak Mandarin. My girl loved her new hairstyle a lot. Our photographer, Junjie (李军杰), gave helpful advice on selecting the right Hanbok beforehand. He and his team were attentive and very considerate. They helped us communicate with the Hanbok staff about our preferences. Getting a toddler's and a kid's attention in a series of photo shoots is demanding, but he managed it well!
