We stayed at Shangri-La The Fort in BGC, Taguig from October 31 to November 1 to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of our most memorable staycations yet. We booked a Horizon Club Deluxe King Room, and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth, personalized, and full of thoughtful touches. The staff were genuinely warm and accommodating. Since we stayed in a Horizon Club room, check-in was done privately at the Horizon Club Lounge, which was calm and relaxing. They even prepared a lovely surprise in our room: a bottle of red wine, a personalized birthday card, macaroons, and balloons for the birthday celebrant. They also granted my request for a spa gift certificate to be ready upon arrival, which made the experience extra special. Our room was spacious, spotless, and cozy, with a super comfortable bed and a luxurious bathtub that we enjoyed. The overall vibe was elegant but relaxing — perfect for a short getaway in the city.
