Fantastic
Great location for exploring the city, just right next street from jonker night market street. Although it’s very close to the lively sightseeing spot, but very quiet in the room. I didn’t hear any noice during the stay in the room.

Location is perfect. Lobby is beautiful. Can't say for other rooms but ours was not in very good condition. Little things like wallpaper was peeling, water stains on ceiling, scrapes and peels on walls and furniture. Aircon probably needed servicing as well - we could hear it struggling to work most of the night. Layout of the room was a little awkward - bathroom area had a sliding door (which was a little flimsy) and a gap in the wall. It's our second time at this hotel and unfortunately, likely to be our last.

Good

Solo stay

The property markets itself as a heritage hotel, and while the lobby is beautifully decorated with antiques, the two rooms I was in were dark, windowless and--except for one antique piece--devoid of character. They were boxes with an odd mixture of modern furniture. The AC in my first room wasn't working properly on a 30-degree-plus day, so the manager moved me to another room, where the AC worked beautifully. The rooms were OK but claustrophobic. The management was nice. The location is good. I slept well. Don't think I'd stay there again, though, because it isn't really the heritage hotel that they market.

Great

For leisure

We were automatically given a bigger room upon arrival because the family room we booked had some issues. The bathroom was huge with a jacuzzi! All amenities were working well. The hotel is just next to Jonker Walk, near all restaurants, street food stalls and souvenirs shops. The historic Malacca's attractions at Bandar Hilir are also within walking distances (about 15 minutes).

We had 2 rooms as went with another couple. Location right smack in Jonker Area. However maintenance of rooms are poor - water leaked from below basin in bathroom, rendering floor wet and had to put towel on floor to prevent slipping on wet floor, shower knob missing, plaster peeling off walls etc. Bed and bedding were comfortable though.

Hotel is too old and not maintained properly except for the public arras. The rooms and the toilets are beat up.
