I loved my room; it’s a junior suite. It’s one of about 3 suites/rooms in what should be the old building’s attic. For that reason, it’s got slopping ceiling that limits the amount of usable space. The bathroom is pretty, with a tiled but old bath tub. The shower stall is functional but tight. The whole suite is rather dark; the bed is uncomfortable and the head board worn from age and use, but the air conditioning is pretty good. What I disliked the most were:1) the WiFi, which didn’t work for me and I needed it to participate in a Zoom call. The problem began at check-in. The password was written in caps, so I entered it as written when I got upstairs to the room. It didn’t work so I picked up the phone to reach the front desk. The phone in the room didn’t work; doesn’t work! So, I went downstairs to the front desk where the guy told me the password is all lower case but he’d written it in upper case because of his poor hand writing. He typed the correct password on my phone but the WiFi did NOT connect. He said it’s because it’s an Apple phone, but that it would work later upstairs. I went back up, but it didn’t work, and he blamed my carrier, whom I called. The carrier spoke with the front desk and said it’s the hotel’s WiFi problem. I went to another hotel down the street and the WiFi worked! I abandoned this hotel after one night although I paid for four nights! 2). The “lobby” is dark & dirty. I blame Expedia for listing this as a hotel instead of a B&B!!!

I had to book a last minute hotel at this due to another cancellation. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience at all. The room was dark and dungeon like.. bathtub was also stained /scratched and the water would not go down quickly. The hotel overall felt very outdated. On the night of our checkout we also woke up to loud construction noise and once we opened up the door they were doing construction right in our floor and at a nearby room. I don’t recommend this place and def not worth the prize.

The bedroom was clean and big enough for the three of us (I had my 11 year old with us). However our bedroom was next to the lift, which was very noisy and didn’t let us sleep as you would hear it every time someone used it. I won’t go back to this hotel.

This boutique hotel is a bit out of the way, but once you find it, it’s a lovely property and a great location. 10 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe and 2 different subway lines. Far enough from the touristy part of Paris to have authentic restaurants at reasonable prices.
