Good Property was nice, well located and generally clean. I did have an issue with the AC unit in my room. Was basically not cooling. I went downstairs to complain, and the front desk person came up and said it was locked at that temperature. But then I walked back down with him and showed him that the lobby, set at a higher temperature was cooler than my room. He said basically that I should be fine because he doesn’t have AC at his own house. I explained that I paid to have a room with a working AC unit. He said he would call someone the next day to check it, but that wasn’t going to help me as I stayed only one night. It was an uncomfortable night of sleeping as you might have guessed. I complained to another person the next day and he apologized and gave me free breakfast. I appreciated some consideration but think I should have been accommodated beyond a free breakfast. Likely won’t stay again.

Fantastic We enjoyed our stay, the location is easily accessible to the bus system and a stones throw from the colosseum. The room was well appointed and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic We had an excellent time at Profumo Colosseo! The location was fantastic, just a very quick walk right to the Colosseum. We were a family of four, so we had a larger room with a bed and sleeper sofa for our (teenage) kids, and we all agreed the beds were the most comfortable of our entire stay in Italy. A few others in our group had rooms in the hotel, too, which were much smaller than our room but still very nice. Be sure to eat at Pizza Forum a block away. Ate there twice and it was fantastic. Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic We loved the location. It's close to the Colloseum with lots of dining options in the area.
It's a small room, with a fireplace and AC. It's very cozy. We were given a bottle of sparking wine but didn't drink it. Fausto at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
We couldn't figure out how to work the TV.
We didn't book breakfast when we booked the room but we're able to buy breakfast for 15€ each which was great.
We would stay there again. The only problem we had was luggage and stairs. There is no elevator. Fausto helped us the day we arrived.

Good Rooms were clean and had all the essentials. Location is great and helps get to the main attractions quickly.
Our issue with both rooms we had in this reservation was the AC didn’t seem to work and we had trouble getting any rest since it was extremely hot.

Fantastic We stayed in this lovely hotel within walking distance of the Colosseum before boarding our vacation cruise. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and conveniently located near public transportation, restaurants, and tourist spots. The staff was amicable and accommodating of our requests. Before boarding the cruise, we had planned on doing some sightseeing around Rome. We had a last-minute schedule change and needed to check out before the available prepaid breakfast timeframe. The staff was very kind to make a breakfast-to-go box for us so we could quickly visit the tourist attractions before boarding the ship. They were also accommodating with storing our luggage while sightseeing without charge after checking out. We highly recommend this place to stay.

Very clean hotel. Classy and elegant. Very close to the Coliseum, 2 blocks away with plenty of outdoor cafes and bars for easy dining and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel if I visit Rome again in the future.

Hot and don’t leave valuables out!
I booked two rooms for my family at the hotel. When we arrived one room was ready. We put our stuff in the one room and it had a fan. The AC was running but not blowing any cold air. I told them downstairs and they said you have a fan. I told them I need AC it’s 95 degrees out in a heat wave. They changed the room to a room with a AC but again it wasn’t cold. We spent 2 days in rooms with no relief from the heat wave.
Next and more importantly would be that my wife’s ring was stolen in the room. We came back from sightseeing and again it was extremely hot, my wife took off her ring and placed it on the console because it was tight from her fingers being swollen from all the heat. We then decided to go out instead of sitting in the hot room and get Gelato. The gentleman at the front recommended a place 4 blocks away. We walked past 5 gelato places and went to the one he recommended. The guy inside was chatting with someone for 5 minutes while we waited. There were no other people in the shop. We got our gelato and went back to the hotel. (The gelato was ok but no reason to skip multiple other shops) When we got back to the room my wife instantly noticed the ring was gone. I didn’t want to take issue and accuse the staff of entering the room but I most definitely knew they did. I didn’t want to get into a problem in a foreign country. The ring looked expensive but it wasn’t, It’s Swarovski and only costs $120.
