We loved staying at Plataran Menjagen. The beautiful Villa was extraordinary. The Eco-Friendly resort had every thing we had hoped for and more with monkeys and deer running around and coming close to our Villa. The Villa had a sand beach and lagoon. We had the lagoon and beach all to ourselves. The surrounding environment is gorgeous. Very clean and beautiful plants everywhere. A wonderful restaurant a few feet away from our Villa. The Spa therapists were incredible!!! Breakfast is fantastic! The best snorkeling we have ever experience . We hired a boat and an employee joined us. We went to three different places to snorkel. We felt as though we were in an aquarium. So many fish, turtles and even a eel that was 5 feet long. Menjangen Plataran is a Five star Destination.

The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality.

The Plataran Menjangan provides an oasis of peace and serenity. I loved being away in the bush, but in such a luxurious bungallow, and seeing so many amazing animals. Staying here for 5 nights was such a treat and a great way to recharge myself after a really stressful period. A truly magical place
