We booked this hotel a year ago after extensive research, but were nervous about payment issues after reading negative reviews. We brought plenty of cash and backup cards just in case. However, the front desk team was incredibly accommodating with every request. We almost cancelled due to the haze, but it cleared just in time for our ferry. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes by shuttle to reach the property. To our surprise, payment was seamless—we used YouTrip for everything without a hitch. We even extended our stay by four hours and loved our time on the beach. The dining was excellent, especially the room service, and breakfast had tons of variety. Our stay felt too short, and while cycling around is tiring, it’s a great way to explore if you know the paths. Definitely explore this property; you won’t regret it. A huge thanks to the team for being so responsive on WhatsApp, phone and email, We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful place and great hospitality from the staff. Expect a longer journey to the resort from the ferry terminal, and prepare more insect repellants for the mosquitoes in the outdoors.

Enjoyed the relaxing stay there. service was wonderful and the spa was amazing. food at Rica Rica was also splendid. kids club could keep the kids entertained while the grown ups took a break. place was quite far from the city though with no access to grab or GOJEK so you’ll require private hires which are easily available.

hotel location: It's about 2 hours drive away from the ferry terminal but it's understandable. The hotel provides transport to and fro, which is a great initiative! service: Top-notch and consistent. The smile and genuineness to support in any way is simply amazing. food: Breakfast buffet was good, but hope that there are more food options around the resort (only 3 places, and drinks menu is the same in all places).

The resort is rather far, about an 1.5 hour drive away from the Bandar Bintan Telani ferry terminal. But return transport is provided between the ferry terminal and the resort, so it’s worth a visit. The resort is lovely and peaceful with friendly staff, and the food is decent too. They do offer lots of activities (at additional cost) such as sambal making, cooking classes, and snorkelling at Mapur Island, so you won’t be bored during your stay!

The Garden Suite (Upper) was cozy and well-appointed, with great privacy. The staff were warm, attentive, and helpful, especially with arranging transfers and tours. The resort offers a good mix of relaxation and activities — from beach walks and water sports to spa treatments. Dining at Rica Rica was pleasant, with options for both adults and kids. A lovely retreat perfect for unwinding with family.
