Good

The hotel’s location is very convenient, especially if you’re planning to visit the zoo. It’s also not far from the city centre, and there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel with frequent buses, so you don’t have to wait long to get into town. The lobby and restaurant are both pleasant, and the swimming pool and gym are good facilities for guests who want to keep active during their stay. However, the pool is quite small. The biggest downside is the soundproofing. You can easily hear noise from the corridor, and the room doors close very loudly with no soft-close mechanism, which can be quite disruptive. If you’re a light sleeper, this may be something to consider before booking.

This place was awful and outdated. Other than Holly (?) who checked us in and maintenance who came and checked out the deadbolt and washroom door issues, Management and staff was not helpful at all. Check out person said one word to us when checking out. The deadbolt on our door was not working and was told by manager we don’t need it. Washroom door was not closing properly either, needs to be body slammed to close it. No in-room safe so had to travel with our valuables. Do not opt in for the breakfast - not much selection, bland food. One good thing about this place was common areas in lobby is kept neat and clean.

Fantastic

Really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Loved the overall atmosphere downstairs. Of course, all of the Spaniards watching their team win the World Cup final set it to a whole other level! The pool was really nice.

Not handicap accessible. There was a hole in the wall of the room. Staff wasn’t overly friendly . Lock of outlets near beds to plug in cpap machine and a we were told that in order to get an extension cord for cpap there would need to be a hold on a credit card.

Good

Thr room was a bit dusty, like no sweeping of surfaces was done. AC had one setting: max cooling (as the controller did not have any impact on the device while numbers on the AC unit screen changed). In the restaurant I had overcooked salmon and on another occasion the burger was very overdone. Overall the place was good due to the location and staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good.

Convenient position, very well connected to public transport or, alternatively, well suited with parking spaces. Courteous staff, rich breakfast and restaurant. Large and clean bedrooms. Not far from airport or city center. Ideal for stop over or long holiday in Edinburgh, for families, groups or singles.

Great

This hotel has a convenience location and great view looking south, but the lobby and restaurant music are too blasting to walk through there with peace. When I asked politely if it could be turned down a little, I was told, "No, we want it for 'the atmosphere'" (the message from the manager). So I don't recommend staying here unless you are already a little deaf.
