Fantastic 5.0
Easy to use, app is simple and provides good info on train routes etc. A bit pricey at first, but you if you don’t have definite plans and prebooked train tickets months before, will recommend getting this to avoid variable prices.

Fantastic 5.0
The BritRailPass is so worth it. Easy to activate and use the QR codes for each day. You can take your time and be assured that you can board the train at the time that you prefer. There are routes though that are really popular and crowded. Train fares are quite expensive if you buy them on the day itself so the flexibility helped a lot. We traveled around UK with our large luggages. just make sure to board the coach with the luggage compartment.

A great stay! The staff were friendly and the room was spacious with plenty of sunlight. It had a kitchen with basic utensils, which was a plus. The view was also nice. Although the area nearby was a bit noisy, the soundproofing of the windows was excellent! I definitely recommend it!

Fantastic 5.0
Our tourguide Callum is so impressive! He was a very safe driver, a podcaster, a DJ, and a tourguide all in 1 as he drove us through the highlands. While the weather was foggy and that meant that some of the scenery were not the clearest - that's also the beauty of the Scottish Highlands, is it not?;)

Fantastic 5.0
Tour is guided by Mr Jerry, he is very enthusiastic bringing us to stop at the the viewing points for photo shots in the Glencoe as many as he could. He is very informative and even gave us a quiz and rewarded the top 3 winners. He made the 1 day trip enjoyable and unforgettable. Thank you Jerry from Timberbush Tour.

Great 4.0
There was a work being done in Queen Street so when we arrived at one of the bus stop it was closed and a very nice gentleman gave us the direction where to get City Sightseeing Bus. The driver was nice.

Fantastic 5.0
The tour was great - we had a smaller van and the seats were comfortable. Our tour guide was Nicky and she was wonderful. She was funny and welcoming, and shared lots of facts and stories about Scotland's history. All the places we stopped were great. The weather was completely wild! We had snow and rain in the morning, and then sun in the afternoon - but this just added to the experience. We also opted for the Loch Ness cruise and it was worth it. The views were amazing and there was more facts shared. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Fantastic 5.0
The Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and Stirling Castle Tour from Glasgow was honestly one of the best tours we had during the trip. The cruise, the scenery, the Scottish farm animals, and especially Stirling Castle made the experience unforgettable. Stirling Castle was full of history and gave a great insight into Scotland’s past and royal history, while the landscapes around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs were absolutely beautiful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, active, and helpful throughout the entire trip, and he kept everyone engaged the whole time. My only complaint is that the cruise and castle entrance fees were paid separately, and I wish they were included in the package. Other than that, the tour was amazing and highly recommended for anyone visiting Glasgow.

What to know before visiting Glasgow

Glasgow City at a glance

Glasgow City is a lively urban destination where tours, events and shows, and attraction passes lead visitor activity, with guided experiences and cultural outings most popular. Demand rises and falls through the year, peaking in summer and dipping in late winter, giving the city a clear seasonal rhythm for visitors.

When to visit Glasgow for price and crowds

According to Klook booking data the busiest month is August and the quietest is February; demand builds through late spring into a summer peak and then eases again in autumn and winter. Prices move independently at times: April shows the highest typical prices while June is typically the cheapest month on Klook, so the most budget-friendly window can fall slightly before the main demand peak. If you want smaller crowds and lower prices, consider visiting in February or June; for peak-season atmosphere and events aim for July–August when demand and atmosphere are strongest.

Tips for travellers from Singapore

Most travellers from Singapore book about nine days in advance on Klook, with a portion making last-minute plans up to around three days out and some booking much earlier. If your trip is flexible you can often secure tours and show tickets shortly before departure, but for travel in July–August consider planning and booking a bit earlier to lock in preferred dates. Use Klook to compare typical options and timing so you can balance price and availability for your Glasgow itinerary.
