Fantastic The Citrea is a lovely hotel in Santander. A short walk from the Modern Art Museum (not the Botin Centre) and the town hall and the bus station, through the tunnel.
Having been to Santander we knew this wasn't far so no issues.
The room was cozy, but had plenty of storage cupboards. The air conditioning was absolutely needed in the heat of the summer, would go again just for this.
The staff were fantastic, supporting us with every ask and arranged a late checkout on our departure day.

Great The hotel was well-located and the beds were comfortable. The Standard room is quite small but had a bump out balcony with a table. There was also a small refrigerator. The night stands were too small to hold our CPAP machines. Beds were comfortable. We did not include breakfast. Overall we felt the price was high. We are now in a five star hotel in Oviedo for 20% less which includes an excellent breakfast

The hotel is excellently well maintained and managed. Great location central to pretty much everything. The breakfast was always fresh and a nice selection. Staff so welcoming and friendly and always on hand to assist if required.
I would definitely recommend Hotel Citrea if wanted to spend some time in Santander.
Would stay again when back in Santander.

The room given was a weird set up. It had a bath tub next to the bed. The sink was o the other side of the bed. It had a bucked door to access the comode and the shower, but the shower had a 5 feet tall glass looking into the the room. So from the bed you can watch whoever was showering. Probably this was a honeymoon room. There are no closets or dresser to store clothing. Just a rack in top a small counter. The breakfast was all american (all cold cuts) not even scramble eggs. We ate at a cafeteria nearby. The bed was comfortable and the room had a mini-fridge. Overall it was ok, but not "wonderfull" as stated in the reviews.
