I was hesitant because Shanghai food is generally inexpensive, but the tour price seemed high. However, since I don't speak any Chinese and going to authentic local restaurants would be difficult in terms of ordering and finding them, I signed up with 3 others. The result was extremely satisfying. The guide was a true Shanghai local but spoke Korean very well, so the tour was smooth and comfortable. They kept ordering more food when we said we were still hungry, and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai. TJ, our guide, was the best!! All the food was delicious, and they were so thoughtful, providing us with drinks throughout the tour!

If you use earphones and set the language to Korean, it provides audio explanations and drops you off at major tourist attractions since the bus runs frequently!

We had the most amazing time on this food tour! Our guide, Kurt, was absolutely fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and so passionate about Shanghai’s history and cuisine. Each stop felt thoughtfully chosen, giving us the chance to taste truly authentic dishes, from hidden local gems to fusion dishes we would have never found on our own. Beyond just the food, our guide shared the cultural background and little stories behind the spots and dishes, which made the whole experience come alive. It wasn’t just eating—it was learning, laughing, and exploring together. If you want to experience the real flavors of Shanghai and leave with both a satisfied stomach and a deeper appreciation of the city, this tour is a must. Highly recommended! Our deepest thanks to Kurt! We hope to meet you again!

Honestly had a good experience with them. The make up artist/stylist and the photographer did a really good job. They were very patient communicating with me despite me speaking 0% chinese. It was raining that day and the photographer really tried to give me good pictures and experience. The pictures turned out really good and these are all unedited. I can't wait to see what the edited looks like. If you want to try hanfu and have a good experience, book with them.
