Pileh Lagoon tours

March 9, 2026: This was a wonderful tour. We chose the 3-hour tour starting at 6am. The 1st stop was Maya Bay and we were one of the first ones on the island, so it was easy to take photos without anyone in the background. The 2nd stop was Pi Leh Bay, but we couldn't go through it because it was still low tide. Our guide said we could wait until 8:30am/8:40am to be able to go through, but we decided not to since we didn't want to wait an hour. To be fair, we didn't spend too much time at Maya Bay, so that's why we were early at Pi Leh Bay. We still took nice pictures from the outside. The 3rd stop was Viking Cave and we passed by one other boat here. The 4th stop was Monkey Bay. Our guide said we were lucky to see so many monkeys around 8-8:30am as they typically don't come out this early. We were the only ones there and the guide let us feed them pineapples. Overall, I highly recommend this tour! :)

Great experience with tour company Yacht Master for our Phi Phi Island adventure! There were 2 snorkelling sessions of 40mins each as well as ample opportunities stopping by beautiful coasts and beaches for pictures. The guides were incredibly professional, funny, and helpful. They even helped guide us to see baby sharks while we were snorkelling! For non-swimmers, they provide a float for you to hold on to and the guide actually holds your hand to see the various coral reefs below! Additionally, if you're not looking to get wet, there is an option of a long tail boat tour for 3000THB (4pax). There is a Thai/western buffet provided, and they were incredibly helpful to accommodate a variety of diets including gluten free and seafood allergies. At the end of the day you get a sweet treat with magnum ice cream! Round trip transfer is also provided. All in all a great experience with this tour, would recommend if you're looking for a snorkelling experience in Phi Phi!

This was a great day. Local doughnut and coffee provided on the pier before boarding the speedboat- the arrival process was well managed. Being from north Qld- the fish life was beautiful. We went to 3 snorkelling locations on the full day. Maya bay is stunning and I love that it is now protected. We need to respect this special place. The monkeys are cheeky. We also loved the bamboo island swimming - the waterfront here was stunning with crystal clear waters. Fresh pineapple was lovely. Lunch was basic rice and chicken. Our tour guide was sensational. She had a great sense of humour and clear information was provided as the day progressed. pack some cash for snack bar at bamboo for a treat. We enjoyed a banana smoothie.

I was excited to be upgraded to the Catamaran experience with sunset in Poda beach. However, the catamaran had some issues and we almost ended up cancelling the day. Thankfully, our master tour guide, Chim, was kind to contact and arrange for the tour to continue using a speedboat instead. It was an amazing experience! We were able to go to all the sights. Personally, Maya Bay was the highlight. This was a truly memorable birthday celebration for me. Thank you to the crew. 10 stars to all of you ❤️

IMO, Maya bay deserves to be a separate itinerary altogether. The island is too pristine and beautiful to be overwhelmed by large crowds of tourists. Honestly, I wouldn't mind and additional conservation fee on top of the 400 baht national park charge if it helps preserve the area. The halal buffet was surprisingly good and one practical tip: cash is king. it makes bargaining easier and helps u avoid card transaction fees. A special mention to our guide Phayu and the speedboat crew; they were excellent throughout the trip. Friendly and professional. Phi Phi and Maya are stunning but preserving them should be just as important as promoting them.

There are so many options for trips to Phi Phi Island but I didn’t like the idea of a speedboat in case the weather wasn’t ideal. I booked the Dolphin 1 for the a/c & the reviews were amazing. I loved that lunch was served on the yacht, away from lots of other tourists on the island. The food was great, just a bit cold by the time I got there. I had Fiona as a guide and she was awesome, very funny and helpful. She took some video of me snorkelling which was nice since I’m on my own. Maya Bay is beautiful but there are SO MANY tourists!! If you can find a spot away from everyone else to take photos do so. The longtail boat ride was cool, & Fiona made sure we all got “sexy” photos haha. Snorkelling equipment & towel are provided so there’s no hidden costs unless you want to buy the photos taken by the photographer. The fish around Maithon Island were stunning, & I saw a baby shark near Viking Cove. Highly recommended, especially if you love seafood as afternoon tea is luxury with sushi++

unique and unforgettable experiences. Everything was fantastic and intuitive, our guide Abu was the best in the world, we couldn't communicate much, but he made every attempt and effort. Always ready and willing, we will carry him in our hearts.
