The hotel informed us of the pickup time the day before, but it was vague, stating 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM. Ultimately, it took an hour and a half to pick up everyone and get going. The highlight of the tour, the underground river, was wonderful, and the audio guide even had a Japanese translation, so the explanations were perfect. The cave boat ride was fantastic! The lunch at Sabang Wharf was also delicious. When I told the guide that we only had 30 minutes to transfer to the shared van for El Nido on the way back, he reassuringly said it would be fine. After lunch, there were optional activities like ziplining and mangrove kayaking. If you don't do these, you can return about 2.5 hours earlier than the stated end time. I think this activity is a great value for the price.

I’m not usually a fan of city tours, but this one was different. I really enjoyed the experience because of our guide, Kuya Dennis. He is excellent at explaining the history and culture of Palawan, which made the tour so engaging. He was also very accommodating, and I was impressed by how well he remembers all the historical dates!

I'm very confident to say that this tour was very worth it. For 1,919 per person, it already includes van transfers, boat transpo, lunch, and payment of island entrances (very convenient). All three destinations were breathtaking with the tropical fishes at the reef and scenic beaches in Luli and Cowrie Island. Our tour guide was also very accommodating and knowledgeable about all the places we were heading. Overall, I recommend if you are planning on having your vacation here in Puerto Princesa.

GO! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ You may see whale sharks, you may not, just go and have a good time. These people are professional, kind, and excellent cooks. We had 8 whale shark encounters and an encounter with manta rays! We got lucky, you may not, but don't give them a 1 star because you don't see a shark or because you are a poor swimmer. They provide life jackets, so wear a jacket if you're a poor swimmer.

This trip was such an amazing experience and it was made better by the convenience of this tour package. We were picked up at our condo in the allotted time frame which was good. The drive to the location was uninterrupted because there was no traffic. Our tour guide was also very clear and transparent with our itinerary. We were also blessed because it wasn't that sunny which made it all the better. After arriving at Sabang, we did a small hike up to the zipline area. The zipline over the water was also jaw dropping, an amazing experience indeed. Afterwards, we were toured in the mangrove river. Our boat captain was also very entertaining and knowledgeable about mangroves. We had our lunch near the pier so we just had to walk a little bit to the boat that will take us to the underground river. Overall, the whole trip was an experience of a lifetime. Being able to witness the underground river is something you can only do once.

When we arrived they let us eat before the "firefly tour", the food was good, there were many choices, and personally I've loves the live singer/guitarist (Junnel). The firefly tour by the river was fantastic, the guide was full of facts about the mangrooves and fireflies, he even captured a firefly to show us. Really reccomended

Quick facts about Puerto Princesa
General info
What to know before visiting Puerto Princesa
Quick snapshot of Puerto Princesa and what to expect
Puerto Princesa is a coastal destination where tours, outdoor activities and water experiences drive most bookings, and demand rises and falls markedly through the year. Klook data show a clear high season in March and much quieter months around August to September, so the city alternates between busy tour periods and low-demand stretches.
Best times to visit for crowds and prices
Demand peaks in March while the trough occurs in August; the busiest months are concentrated in the first quarter and late summer sees the lightest crowds. Prices do not always move in step with demand: Klook booking data show July and September typically among the cheapest months for activities, while prices climb around February to April and reach their typical high in June. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, travel in July to September; if you prefer the peak-season atmosphere and more tour options, aim for March.
Tips for travellers from Singapore
Most travellers from Singapore book activities here a few days in advance, with typical lead time around five days, although last-minute bookings are often possible about two days out and some travellers book earlier. If you plan to travel in March or June, consider locking in popular tours sooner rather than later; for a spontaneous trip in low season, many experiences remain available close to departure. Use Klook to compare tour and water-activity options and secure bookings when you spot the combination of price and schedule that suits you.
