One of the BEST activities I did in Chiang Mai! Mr. Jimmie was absolutely hilarious and made the whole experience unforgettable. I loved every part of it—the market visit, cooking our three dishes, and the beautiful location. As a solo traveler, it was also the perfect place to meet new friends. Highly recommend! Kudos!!

This course involves attending a Thai cooking ingredient class at the market, picking and tasting various herbs and ingredients grown in the garden, and then cooking. We are a family of four, so three of us cooked and one observed. The father, son, and daughter enjoyed and enthusiastically participated in the cooking. Later, during the meal, the instructor specially made chicken curry for me because I was observing and helping my young daughter. And with mango sticky rice and Thai milk tea for dessert, it was the best course ever. Highly recommended for travelers who want a passionate instructor and a fun experience.

Before our reservation, we inquired on Instagram several times, and the staff always answered our questions in detail within a short time. We were a total of 7 people (3 women and 4 men). Later, we booked the clothing and two photographers on Klook and a private van on Instagram. The process was very smooth.
We arrived at 9 am that morning, and the staff quickly greeted us. They helped us choose and match clothing colors according to our requirements. The changing and makeup time took about an hour. It is recommended to communicate well with the makeup artist before applying makeup to avoid misunderstandings. Most of the white-shirted staff understand Mandarin, but the makeup artists generally only know simple English.

I enjoyed the experience. The course is well organised and is interesting for both the novice and the experienced home cook. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are very clean and the decor is warm and authentic. Highly recommended!

Four of us booked together and we had a terrific time. We were paired with four other travelers and it was a nice group. Wave did a great job of making sure everything ran on time, that we were having a good time, and that all of our questions about Thai cuisine were answered. We appreciated the efficient pick up from our hotel, the stop at the market where Thai ingredients were explained to us, and then our experience at the cooking school. we had a great time and would highly recommend this experience to others!

we were total beginners (imagine 2 tiny asian girls with zero stamina) and yet we left with our dignity intact because of how amazing Boh, our instructor, was! he walked the line of kicking our butts and letting us off a lil easy, and boy did he walk it well. despite a gruelling warm up followed by the basics of muay thai, followed by sparring and seemingly never-ending sit-ups, the program is designed very well for beginners. i highly recommend!!! the gym was spacious and clean, as well as the women’s changing rooms (lockers, showers and hairdryer provided). definitely suggest trying out if you want a unique chiang mai experience.

I absolutely loved my experience at Charming CM Studio! Their traditional costumes are beautifully maintained and feel premium in quality. The studio itself was very spacious and clean, and they even offered free water, which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff were respectful and genuinely passionate about what they do, making the whole experience extra special.

this is a must try activity in Chiang Mai. This cooking school offered us such an enriching experience. We had lots of fun and received the utmost attention from our instructor Richie. The view while cooking was amazing and we even had the chance to do kayaking after lunch.
