Fantastic 5.0
We arrived at the Hadrian’s Arch at 8:15. There was no signage and no one there. . Some people suggested that we walk to the Temple of Olympian Zeus entrance, but it seemed that none of them had any idea about this tour because it’s private tour. So we went back to Hadrian’s Arch around 8:30, and Alexandra was waiting there with another visitor. Alexandra is an archaeologist, and she can beautifully link legends with history. Her explanations were interesting, with clear timelines and drawings. I felt like I was time-traveling back to Ancient Greece. The tour took about 4.5 hours, but we were not tired. We enjoyed the scenery, the Parthenon, and the stories and history. Alexandra was able to answer many questions from my teenage daughter, who loves Greek mythology. It is really worth going with a tour guide. Without her, we may not have known what we were seeing. If you are planning to visit the Ancient Agora to see the Temple of Hephaestus, you will need to buy another ticket.

Fantastic 5.0
My combo day tour today combined, Palermo city walk in the morning, and Norman Palace & Palatine Chapel in the afternoon. Such great experience today was truly elevated by the same guide, whose profound expertise in history and culture brought every site to life with fascinating insights. Fluent in English, she seamlessly communicated intricate stories behind each landmark, making the journey both educational and engaging. What stood out was her exceptional ability to balance the group's dynamics, consistently ensured everyone’s safety, maintained a steady pace, and thoughtfully checked in on all participants to guarantee no one fell behind. Her professionalism and genuine care for the group’s enjoyment and well-being made this trip unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a guide who combines knowledge, communication skills, and a heartfelt commitment to the team!

Great 4.0
We had a lovely overall snorkelling trip. There were a few things that could have been a little better. We didnt get any instruction on how to snorkel, we just put it on and were expected to know what to do. Luckily we'd done it once before but some guidance would have been good. We were hoping to be able to use the full face masks as seen in the photos but thry didnt supply these which was disappointing. While our guide was a really lovely lady, her English was very limited so it made the experience less interactive. This was after us booking an English speaking guide. Despite these small issues, we did have a nice snorkelling trip seeing lots of fish and being guided into pretty caves.

I always try to experience the culture and life of each country I travel to through cooking classes, and this cooking class is by far the best. You can feel the vibrant life and taste of the market, and you can decide on the dishes and learn to cook through conversations while shopping together at the market. It was a happy time thanks to the chef who is so kind and passionate about cooking!!

Fantastic 5.0
The Trenitalia Pass was simple to use and it’s suitable for first time tourist to use. However, it’s a little bit expensive, but for the convenience sake. Do note that you will need to plan your route and journey in advance so that you can reserve your seats.

Fantastic 5.0
Just so others are aware, the pick up point ended up being on the west side of the roundabout, not exactly where google maps leads you. Our guide Mickey was a lot of fun! Unfortunately there was some rain during our hike but we made the most of it and it was still a beautiful sight. I can only imagine what the scenery is like when it's clear. My only regret is that I wish I did a sunset tour instead but that probably would've been cloudy/rainy too given my luck 😅

Great 4.0
Well-located between Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa Superiore, and very close to parking at the bottom of a hill (you need to climb a fairly steep and long flight of stairs with your luggage from parking to the hotel). My room was modern and comfortable, although the shower was quite tiny, even for a petite woman. Based on online reviews, I had booked a room with balcony, expecting views of the valley, but got balcony view across the street to an empty building instead. Reception was friendly and helpful – I was able to drop-off my luggage in mid-morning before driving around to visit other places. Breakfast was very limited – while the breakfast room did have lovely views, the tiny size meant very little was laid out, and I had to ask for everything, even milk for cereal. I would recommend this hotel for its proximity to parking, albeit down the hill, as well as its convenience to the tourist sites in both sides of Ragusa.
