From Air Jordans to Yeezys, navigate your way through Sneaker Con that’s coming to Singapore for the first time and cop your most desired pair of kicks!
Calling all sneakerheads and enthusiasts of street culture, rejoice as The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth (Sneaker Con for short) is coming to Singapore! Since it’s first event in 2009 at New York, Sneaker Con has hosted more than 100 events in over 40 cities worldwide.
The inaugural Sneaker Con Southeast Asia is set to draw sneakerheads from around the region, and with them their most coveted pairs of shoes for two full days of hype activities! If you’re looking to buy, trade, sell or just enjoy the cool atmosphere of street culture, lace-up and follow us as we guide you on what to expect and how to prepare for Sneaker Con Southeast Asia!

What to expect
1. Sean Wotherspoon Collab

Love it or hate it, Sean Wotherspoon did design one of 2018’s best selling shoes, the Air Max 1/97 SW and that's enough reason to remember the name. The sneaker-scene legend will be heading Sneaker Con Southeast Asia as its artistic director, and will be designing the official merchandise that will be sold at the event.
If you didn’t get to cop a pair of the Air Max 1/97 SW previously, here’s your chance to grab some Sean Wotherspoon designed apparel!
2. Marketplace
It’s going to be shoes galore at Sneaker Con and the Marketplace is where you’ll probably find the bulk of it! With over 180 vendors set to be at the event, look out for your favourite brands, exclusive collaborations and special drops here!

Don’t fret if you think you won’t be able to find what you want as there will be resellers and small stalls in the Marketplace, bringing only with them their best wares. So keep an open mind and an even bigger eye out, you might just run away with a hidden gem.
3. Trading Pit
A term synonymous with the sneaker community, ‘sneaker trading’ is a way for sneakerheads to share their love for shoes. Got a pair of shoes that you really want? Trade for them with a pair of your own that is of equal value.
At Sneaker Con’s trading pit, you’ll get to buy, sell or trade for your most desired pair of kicks! Whether you’re a reseller, collector or someone who has a desired pair of shoes to cop, come ready and prepared! As good deals hardly last.
4. Legit Check

Getting a pair of coveted sneakers like the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 is a huge investment, especially if you got it on the resale market where prices can easily skyrocket. The last thing that you’d want is for it to be fake! At Sneaker Con, get your shoes verified with Legit Check, a free authentication service offered to everyone at the convention. Once your shoes pass the check, an NFC-enabled ‘Legit Tag’ will be attached to them.

5. Ace of Customs

Some sneakers are already works of art, and others, blank canvases turned into art by sneaker artisans. Owning a coveted pair of sneakers is one thing, but owning a pair that’s one of kind is another! Put your skills on center stage at the Ace of Customs event where participants will all be given the same shoe, theme and five hours to complete the challenge.
6. Panel Discussions
Listening to success stories of popular streetwear brand owners, learning how to break the market with cool designs from international designers and snapping a quick picture with your favourite influencer, you’ll be surprised at who might turn up at your local Sneaker Con.

7. Ballin’ and Skating

Basketball and skateboarding, these sports have been closely tied with sneaker and street culture over the years, with brand and athlete collaborations like the Nike Janoski’s or the LeBron Soldiers! So it’s no doubt that these sports will be featured during Sneaker Con.

Looking to get your first pair of Yeezys or wanting to trade for a pair of Sacai Nikes, but you don’t really know the retail prices of these shoes? We recommend doing some research on the retail and resale prices of the pair of shoes you’re after before coming to Sneaker Con.
Websites like StockX and goat have current market value prices of various sneakers and it will give you a good gauge of the price range of the sneakers that you want to get!
9. Keep your energy up
Occupying two halls at Marina Bay Sand Exhibition Center, it will definitely take a lot of energy to cover Sneaker Con Southeast Asia end to end in search of your ‘holy grail’. As multiple entries are allowed into the event, take a break to replenish your energy with some great eats around the area.
