Mount Bromo Sunrise & Ijen Volcano 3-Day Private Tour

We had an absolutely wonderful time on this trip. Our guide, Mr. Li, was fantastic; we really hit it off and had great conversations and laughs throughout, like traveling with a friend. He was very professional and entertaining. I'm extremely satisfied with this itinerary; all the guides and drivers we met were very kind and treated us exceptionally well! The itinerary was well-planned, and although we chose economy hotels, the quality of our accommodations was still very high. The transportation was comfortable throughout the entire trip, with no issues. Both Bromo and Ijen were incredibly stunning and beautiful attractions.

Although we couldn't climb Mount Bromo due to the fire, we really appreciated the tour company's flexibility in changing our itinerary. We successfully climbed Mount Ijen and saw beautiful scenery, so it was a very satisfying tour. Thank you to Habibi, our guide for the long journey, and to the driver!

The scenery is very beautiful, but the trip is a bit tiring. After the tour guide picked us up at the airport, he took us to a village near Bromo. We had to set off at two in the morning and arrived not long after. The handsome tour guide accompanied us for a cup of coffee and soon we were able to get to a good spot to see Mount Bromo without having to walk much. Then we went to the desert to take many beautiful photos. You can choose to ride a horse to the crater, which is a good experience. Although you have to pay a little money, it is very relaxing. There are more than two hundred steps to get close to the volcano. The most tiring part was Ijen. Not only was the journey long, but we also had to climb the mountain almost without sleep at night. We set off at 11:30 and had to drive for two hours. Then we had to march up the very shaking mountain. After reaching the top, we had to rush down the volcano. The route to the top of the mountain was very difficult to walk on. It is recommended to bring trekking poles and very non-slip shoes. The blue volcano requires good luck. After taking the photos, we must check our photos carefully. Then we went to the top of the mountain and waited for dawn to see the blue lake. The most tiring part was the seven-hour drive back to Surabaya. Our tour guide Met was very good. Bromo arranged a very delicious breakfast, and Ijen arranged a local specialty meal on the return trip, which we were not used to. Then he would find ways to meet our requirements, help us check the tickets and do some follow-up details. I give him a very five-star rating. If you can add a waterfall or something else in the future, I think the itinerary will be richer.

He guided us safely, shared useful insights, and made the whole journey smooth and enjoyable. all was smooth. from picking up till end of trip. rizky was our guide he’s patient and friendly. hotels were up to expectations. especially at grand padis food was good there. bromo was nice. Ijen didn’t expect the walk down to the crater to be quite tough. and we got rain throughout but all was still manageable. good experience.

This trip is full of amazed view and experience! The view of Bromo and Ijen are fantastic and I haven't seen before in other place. Our tour guide Arya is a funny and helpful person, he takes good care of us all the time. And he also provide fruitful information about the trip and the culture of Indonesian. This trip will definitely become one of my unforgotten trips in my life!
