Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of joining the Alumni-Led Walking Tour of Cambridge, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The city itself is rich in history and stunning architecture, and having a knowledgeable guide like Elliot made the tour even more enjoyable. Elliot was exceptional—his passion for Cambridge’s history and his deep understanding of the university’s traditions truly brought the city to life. He shared fascinating stories and little-known facts that you wouldn’t find in guidebooks, making the experience both educational and entertaining. He was also very approachable, answering all our questions with enthusiasm and clarity. The walking route was well-planned, covering all the must-see landmarks while also taking us through charming, lesser-known corners of the city. It was the perfect balance of sightseeing and storytelling. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cambridge. Whether you’re a history buff or just curious about the city’s prestigious university, this tour is a must-do. Kudos to Elliot for making the experience memorable!
We thought of just exploring Cambridge by ourselves but decided to try out the alumni-led one offered by Klook. Glad that we did learn a lot from our guide, Evelyn, about Cambridge. From inside rivalries, to it’s amazing history, traditions, and system—we wouldn’t have learned about them had we not availed of this tour.
The walk was very informative and interesting. Our guide Basit was very knowledgeable and willing to share interesting facts and snippets about the various colleges. Kudos to him for making the walk so enjoyable. Highly recommend
Meet the tour guide to know more about Cambridge college history and story. Recommended to those who keen to know more about Cambridge.
Exploring so many landmarks and learning about their histories and fun facts on a sunny day was excellent. The tour guide was so friendly and gave us a great tour with her detailed knowledge. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Cambridge for the day!
this tour is called the "alumni tour trip" it is usually led by a guide with a blue cup outside the kings college.
The Tour was great! Our Guide was able to rely piles of Cambridge information in an interesting way, making the tour fun to join! Highly recommended to people 1st time visiting Cambridge 👍🏻
Annie is the best! Definitely don't choose the Chinese tour (the one from Oxford is terrible). Maybe because she's an alum, she shared a lot of fun college stories. Annie speaks English slowly and doesn't use overly difficult vocabulary, so I recommend giving her tour a try.
interesting to hear the view/perspective of the guide who is studying in Trinity college currently.
Good and detail explanation for different historic buildings of Cambridge University.
