Mount Batur Sunset Experience by 4WD Jeep in Kintamani Bali

We enjoyed the coffee plantation, paper hill cafe and the awesome jeep tour guide: Mr Mad dwi our jeep driver is very good in driving jeep with safety. He is also a very good photographer for my family

It was a memorable and fun experience with the jeep driver for Jeep Kaja 14, he is friendly and polite. He helped to take many quality and good-skilled photos, and when I requested somemore photos, he tried his hest to get the good shoot and they are really stunning! Although there was no sunset that day due to weather conditions, we had a happy journey with him. Not forgetting the hotel transfer driver Indra who sent us from hotel to mt batur to take jeep. He is helpful and friendly, we have a good and fun chat along the journey! Overall 5-star service and experience!

Great trip, totally worth it. The “coffee in the jungle”, scenic lunch, and Komang - the 4WD driver has some secret photographer skillz. Even though it was cloudy which spoiled the sunset, the experience was still a good one, totally recommend 👍

Thanks to our friendly guide, Eka, and our jeep driver, Eka, we made wonderful memories! (They even have the same name, haha.) The cafe they took us to had an amazing view, and the food was incredibly delicious, especially the acai bowl, Blue Sky drink, and the beef burger. Seriously amazing. When we went up the mountain, they took really cool photos and videos at the Black Lava spot, and they gave us plenty of time at the sunset point, which was great. They were considerate, friendly, and drove safely, so I highly recommend them!

We booked the sunset tour because we heard it's less crowded than the sunrise tour that leaves in the early morning. They picked us up from our hotel, and our pick-up time from Jimbaran was 11:30 AM. The coffee plantation we stopped at during the drive was quite informative and enjoyable. The view from Paper Hills Cafe, where we had lunch, was amazing, and there were various photo zones where we could take great pictures. However, it can be quite windy and chilly, so it's a good idea to bring a thicker jacket than you might expect. The scenery on the way to the base camp for Mount Batur was also beautiful. We transferred to a jeep at the base camp. The journey up Mount Batur was very exciting. However, it's dusty, so I recommend bringing a mask. The sunset from the mountain was also amazing, and they took such great photos that we were able to capture some incredible shots. The trip back to the hotel was a bit tiring, but Indra, our driver, remained friendly and helpful until the end without showing any signs of fatigue. It was the most memorable tour during our Bali trip. I would recommend it to others.

it was a great tour. Dewa picked us up from Seminyak before time and made sure we reached Kintamani for the sunset jeep ride. Our guide / jeep driver for the day was Komang. He was very friendly and provided us with all the necessary information before starting. He drove very well and took us to a black sand spot for just enjoying the view and clicking some nice photos. Then he took us to the sunset point and was super helpful. He clicked some of the most wonderful photographs for us and also taught us a few tricks. With Komang, you don’t need an extra photographer…..he is very good. Also, the driving was good and safe. Enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it. Thanks Komang and Dewa

We really loved it!! My husband and I took the Batur sunset tour + black sand + transfer. Our hotel was not in the pickup area, but they still kindly offered to pick us up directly from our hotel. Everything was very punctual and well organized. Our driver’s name was Gede — thanks to him, during this trip we learned so many new things about Bali. At our request, we also stopped at the beautiful Akasa Café with an amazing view of Mount Batur. The second driver was also great — he took many stunning photos of us. We are very happy and satisfied. Thank you so much 🙏

I went on the Mount Batur jeep tour to see the sunset, but unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, and I missed the moment the sun went down. Still, it was such a satisfying experience that I understood why people recommend it. The views of Mount Batur and the magnificent scenery while driving along the mountain road in the jeep were constantly breathtaking, and the landscape with low-lying clouds was also very mysterious. Every backdrop was so beautiful when taking pictures that I couldn't stop snapping away. The jeep driver was kind and took pictures for me, and they were so amazing that I thought they were a professional photographer. Also, I almost couldn't take any pictures because my battery was dead, but he took photos with his iPhone and AirDropped them to me, which I was very grateful for. And the driver who drove us round trip from the hotel to Mount Batur was friendly and drove safely, making the entire journey comfortable. Although I didn't see the sunset, the impressive natural scenery and the kindness of the people made it a truly special experience. This is a course I would definitely recommend if you go to Bali!

I booked with mixed feelings of worry and excitement, bringing my two sons, ages 5 and 7, but I was ultimately very satisfied! I was surprised that the car that arrived in front of the hotel wasn't a Jeep, but I found out that we transfer to a Jeep at the base camp. The tour ended a bit late due to the schedule, so I bought some bread, and eating it in the Jeep while waiting for the sunset was a great memory. Both drivers were very kind, and the Jeep driver took photos with great enthusiasm. Also, if you read the reservation page carefully, it's free for children up to 5 years old. Be sure to keep that in mind if you have children. A lot of black sand blows around, so I recommend wearing a mask and dark-colored long sleeves instead of a white coat.
