This place is hard to find esp for us foreigners who cannot understnd chinese. We didn't see the bus 7b. We rode #67, and we ask the driver to drop us at cultural buildng. We made a mistake, we headed to the left because of the sign "Shawan Ancient Town". We had to walk very far and reach the west gate I think. It was easy for us to redeem the Klook. Still, its nice in Shawan. Good experience. Worth it.
Not bad attractions but a bit far from the city, there are not many tourists, it is simple
Abit far from the city but nice to have one day trip to feel the ancient town
It is an old town with lots of interesting features that you are able to learn more about Chinese dwelling during the early 20th century. Lots of shop are not opened during winter time. Nevertheless, you still able to taste some interesting food that city may not be able to offer.
Easy to redeem but you need to redeem at the correct place... We had enjoyed ourself there... Bus Was easy to locate and the trip took us 30 minutes from Shiqiou Station...
I had to pay for my admission ticket because I couldn't find the South entrance. Please put up a sign "KLOOK" on the designated ticket counter for easy reference. But overall we enjoyed the place. It was worth it! Thanks KLOOK for offering such an interesting activity.
A scenic spot worth visiting, at least two to three hours of visit time. A lot of snacks.
Went on a weekday and it was really quiet, perhaps a dozen including me. A little touristy and out of the way to visit here. It is quite a small town and wouldnt take long to complete the tour, took me less than 2 hours. Quite a neat and clean town with some photo worthy places. Probably more worth it to visit during festive period. P/s: you can skip all the exhibition halls included in the ticket. There are super underwhelming and mostly took 3 mins to complete.
