Very helpful mentor. Wish the photowalk was longer.
Total scam. For $22 all you get is a 5 minutes briefing and then they tell you to go ahead and take photos by yourself. They don’t even guide the group and don’t care if someone is left behind. Don’t waste your money, you can do the same walk without paying these scammers. The walk is literally from their place to the national museum with no exact stops/no advice on good photo spots. The description says “ Discover the hidden facets of its temples, art spaces, bustling markets, and lively streets through the lens of your camera and experience a whole new perspective.” - this is false advertising as they don’t bother to show/guide the participants any of those places, unless you leave the group and go look for those places by yourself. So what’s the point of joining the group then? Especially as a non-professional photographer you expect some guidance along the way. Lastly, when I asked their “professional” photographer for advice on how to change my camera settings to make my photos less grainy, all she could suggest is to shoot in RAW and edit them in photoshop later. Wow, super professional advice. I wish I could get my money back.
