Why people love Singapore

The ride was familiar yet must be magical for those who had experienced similar rides before as it would bring you on a time-travelling journey — indulge yourself in a reflective mood and let your relaxed mind be your Aladdin’s carpet in bringing you to many places, both within and beyond Singapore shores. (I was brought back to my fast craft-Pulau Tekong days too, as a bonus, haha). Choose a seat near the window and on a bench in the opposite direction travel. This way, you can catch a clear glimpse of the Marina Bay Skyline and marvel at how the Singapore Flyer is like a North Star — always within sight and as if reminding you that there is indeed “no other place you would rather be.” (: (In any case, please remember to bring along mozzie sprays!)
Worth every cent, especially during school holidays when the queue was ultra long. Express queue allowed me to bypass the whole long stretch of queue and got the whole cabin to ourselves together with non alcoholoc mocktail upom request. Treated like a vip throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants an exclusive experience at the singapore flyer!
First time doing a staycation and I must say The Warehouse Hotel and its staff have given me a very good experience. We were a bit troublesome in that we changed room a few times (not because the room was lousy but we were expecting to get a loft room with a mezzanine. It was our mistake as we did not check that the mezzanine room was not part of the SingapoRediscover voucher) but the staff (should have asked for her name) was still very patient with us. Room is nice, service was great and not to mention Breakfast was awesome!
Just show the booking using the phone to the staff to get the ticket, very fast and simple process. The staff are very friendly. It's very convenient to go there by the bayfront mrt and after the river cruise, can just walk to garden by the bay and Singapore flyer. The river cruise is a very relaxing tour and you can see clark and boat quay plus the many bridges. Overall is a nice experience.
The service at Shangri-La Singapore is impeccable. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone has been going above & beyond their duty to ensure we have the most comfortable experience. The room provided was great. Only 1 gripe that I may have, would be that it will be good if the bathroom can have bidet installed as that is quite necessary, thanks.
This was a thoroughly great experience! Patrick was a great guide and shared many things about coffee and tea, and the history associated with it. The food and drinks we got to try was delicious, and the pace throughout was leisurely and enjoyable too. Would highly recommend if you're looking to explore Singapore and gain some fresh perspectives!

Top sights in Singapore

Nowadays, cities are mostly all concrete with small patches of green here and there. In Singapore, it’s the other way around -- it’s a ‘City in a Garden’. Best known for being a melting pot of cultures and cuisines, this city-island also boasts sustainable infrastructure and efficient urban planning. Its reliable MRT system can take you around Singapore attractions, shopping outlets, cultural sites, and hawker centers in a jiffy. Use this travel guide to make sure your itinerary is packed with exciting things to do in Singapore.

Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is a 101-hectare urban sprawl of futuristic gardens, manicured rain forest, beautiful domes, and awe-inspiring structures. Discover the largest glass greenhouse in the world when you visit Flower Dome, home to flora that thrives in Mediterranean temperatures. A tropical rain forest awaits in The Cloud, where an indoor waterfall descends upon the mist-filled Cloud Walk and Treetop Walk. See more of the place through the OCBC Skyway’s 128-meter long aerial walkway. Finish your tour with a viewing of the spectacular light show, or son et lumiere, in the Supertrees

Have some family fun in the heart of Singapore at Sentosa! This island resort is home to sandy beaches, golf courses, theme parks, and a wide range of activities and attractions. Meet underwater creatures at S.E.A Aquarium, or take in the view from the ropeway of Sentosa Island Cable Car. Universal Studios and the Merlion are just a short walk away, while the boardwalk leads to a suspension bridge that can take you to a smaller off-shore island.

A visit to Singapore won’t be complete without a selfie with the Merlion. This half-lion, half-fish icon is a mythical creature that symbolizes the city-state and its roots. The Merlion overlooks the bay and offers a panoramic view of the nearby skyscrapers, making it a must-visit for tourists. The crowds may deter you from visiting, but fret not; there are six Merlion statues that you can check out around the country. Avoid the crowds at noon and catch the evening light show instead.
