Group of 4 of us joined the 1/2-day Pulau Ubin cycling tour. The guide Jeff was excellent - very knowledgeable, very friendly and jovial and made the tour fun and enjoyable. Parts of the tour were slightly physically demanding, involving uphill cycling through forest trails and a little hiking up a hill. However, there were many breaks along the way and Jeff would explain interesting facts about the environment, plants and animals living on the island to break the monotony of the tour while allowing us to take little breaks. Overall, a well organized and friendly tour and a pleasant experience for me. Highly recommended for Singaporeans who have not explored Pulau Ubin before.
It was a fun and educational, though tiring four-hour tour. I learned many things that I didn’t know a Singaporean and discovered many beautiful sites in the city. Definitely want to try a cycling route around Nicoll Highway MST Station myself. The theme of racial harmony is a good one to get all nationalities to think about it and for us to appreciate what we have achieved in Singapore. The one part I did not enjoy was Little India which was too crowded on a Sunday. Other than that, thanks to Jeff for being a wonderful tour guide.
