- Shuanglong Waterfall Park - Important Notices
- Individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, pregnant women, and those with poor physical fitness should assess their physical condition. Those who are unsuitable should not proceed.
- The suspension bridge may be closed during typhoons, heavy rains, strong winds, lightning strikes, or other weather conditions unsuitable for passage.
- Climbing or entering the suspension bridge during non-operational hours is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized entry will result in legal action and personal responsibility for any consequences.
- To maintain pedestrian flow and ensure safety, please follow the load capacity regulations (Total capacity: 250 people) and avoid pushing.
- Please notify the Nantou County Scenic Area Management Office if you find the suspension bridge damaged or subjected to external forces.
- Suspension Bridge Prohibited Activities
- For your safety, please refrain from dangerous behaviors such as climbing on handrails, running, playing, and deliberately shaking the handrails. Please also pay close attention to accompanying children.
- For public safety, roller sports, picnicking/cooking that occupies space, setting off fireworks, and other similar activities are strictly prohibited within the park.
- Please be aware when entering the suspension bridge: Avoid concentrating in one area on the platform to prevent stress concentration and potential danger.
- Please be considerate of others, protect the flora and fauna, and refrain from littering or feeding the animals.
- Bicycles, wheelchairs, and strollers are prohibited on the suspension bridge.
- No pets allowed (except for guide dogs)
- Drones are prohibited within the park.

- At the Rainbow Suspension Bridge entrance, present the QR Code to the staff for verification and stamping before entering (after getting off at the shuttle point, you will need to walk 1 kilometer (uphill) to reach the Rainbow Suspension Bridge entrance).

A bridge well worth to visit! It is so beautiful and gives a happy feeling to cross. When we were there in end October it was just a handful of other people so we could have it almost for ourselves. The bridge is so, so beautiful and surrounded by lush forests. You can also spot the waterfalls from here - the two playing dragons. Don’t miss out on the home baked donuts and the refreshing fruit drinks for sake up here. Great after the steep walk up. There is a parking quite close to the bridge (approximately 500 m) which is closer than the one listed in the description (where the shuttle leaves from). The closer parking seems to be under construction, has no P-sign but is a large concrete deck, and is privately (?) run. Pay in cash when leaving (if I don’t misremembered paid 100-200 TWD). I’ve added some pictures from the parking (see the church and the concrete buildings). It’s just below the mural painting I’ve also added a picture of. Beware that it’s still a quite steep, 500 m walk up. But well worth it!! 🌈

To get to location is about 1.5 hrs drive from Taichung.
Far from other attractions and no cooked food anywhere near the attraction. Only a small drink store. Went on a Friday and definitely not on the radar of most tourists or locals. Not too crowded, which was good.
The use of voucher is easy. A shuttle bus brings you 1/3 of the way up to the start of the bridge. A moderately steep climb up and stairs down to the bridge entrance. There is a fair bit of walking and not stroller or wheelchair friendly at all.
The experience is well worth the visit!
After crossing bridge, you are rewarded with a comfortable rest stop and view of the Shuanglong waterfall.

there’s a waterfall at the end of the bridge, waiting time for the bus was short and leave on time, need to hike about 10mins to reach the bridge after the free shuttle bus service.

fast and smooth. hazzle free. a pity that the trail is closed, so you can only walked the suspension bridge, see the waterfall and back with the same route.

To get to the suspension bridge, you need to hike uphill for 500 meters, and then climb about two or three flights of stairs. Going down is easy, but coming back up is very tiring. Also, there are many mosquitoes in the afternoon, so bring insect repellent. The handrails on the suspension bridge have a lot of ants, so remember to check your belongings carefully after you cross to make sure you haven't left anything behind, as it's difficult to go back and retrieve it. (We accidentally left our child's dinosaur water bottle there.)

The Shuanglong Suspension Bridge is 342 meters long and 110 meters deep, which is equivalent to a 30-story building. It is known as the most beautiful, longest, deepest and most exciting scenic suspension bridge in Taiwan. It is suspended on a cliff with magnificent and charming scenery. But it was foggy on 2/8 and I couldn't see anything clearly, but it was a different kind of scenery.

The Colorful Suspension Bridge is the longest and deepest suspension bridge in Taiwan; the Shuiyuan Suspension Bridge is responsible for delivering drinking water to the villagers, and only maintenance personnel can use it. The majestic Shuanglong Waterfall flows down the river, supplying irrigation for the whole village. Looking at the beautiful scenery of Yushan Mountain in the distance, and walking into the village of Bucun, there are indeed outstanding people, it is refreshing!
