Coba, Chichen Itza, Cenote & Valladolid with Buffet Lunch

There was an issue with the Klook listing. It stated that a buffet lunch was included, but after I booked the tickets, the details showed that the buffet lunch was not included in the price. In the end, we had to pay extra for the buffet lunch on the day of the tour, but the food provided was absolutely not worth the price the restaurant charged. It was very disappointing. The tour guide had a very strong English accent. My husband, who has lived in the United States for nearly 30 years, could only understand about half of what he said. We often couldn't tell if he was speaking English or Spanish, though we could definitely feel the guide's dedication. We departed from downtown Cancun, and it was a truly packed itinerary. We had to be at the meeting point at 4:45 AM and didn't return until around 8:30 PM. It was an exhausting day. Because Chichen Itza was unexpectedly closed that day, the guide took us to Ek Balam instead. We didn't realize we were running out of water and ended up suffering from heatstroke after about half an hour without rehydrating. The weather that day was incredibly hot, which meant we didn't have the energy to properly explore Ek Balam. All we wanted was to get back to the entrance as quickly as possible to buy water. The planning by the staff at Ek Balam wasn't great; many ruins didn't have English explanations, and there was no place to buy water inside the site, only at the entrance and the parking lot. We hadn't planned on actually swimming in the Chichikan cenote, but we were surprised that the staff even required us to pay for a life vest and locker just to dip our feet in the water. Otherwise, we weren't allowed to enter at all and could only view the cenote from the observation deck. Since the water quality inside wasn't very clean, we decided not to go in after all.

Covered a lot of sights in one day! Guide Omar was great! Long day and pick up/drop off route added to that. Bus comfortable and timing good. Cenote quite chilly buffet lunch was average. Pricibg was conflicting between Klook booking and tour app and there were several extra added expenses. Would recommend just be forewarned

Loved this trip. Our guide Ricardo explained the significance of Chichen Itza and Maya culture + beliefs with detail and insight. The Chichikan cenote was beautiful and relaxing. Glad Valladolid was a short stop, that market is so tempting! Opt for the tricycle at Coba if you want to have energy later for Chichen Itza!

We had an amazing time with Rodrigo and Alejandro. Rodrigo is very knowledgeable about everything. as a person who likes to learn, 12hrs with Rodrigo, I learned about history and many more! it was raining but rain never bothered Rodrigo anyways. also Alejandro “Alex” kept us safe on the road. thanks guys! you are amazing

Tour guide: The tour guide and driver were both great, explained the attractions very well, and were very knowledgeable about the historical background! Itinerary: But for friends departing from Cancun, unless you have a very strong back, I definitely do not recommend joining this tour because Amigo Tour will arrange Cancun as the first stop. You will get on the bus around 04:45 and then drive for 2 hours to Tulum, a city south of Cancun, to pick up other tour members for about 2 hours, and then set off to the first attraction, arriving at the first attraction at around 08:30. The return trip is even crazier. You will be the last one to be sent back. The last attraction leaves at 15:30, and everyone else is dropped off before returning to Cancun. We returned to Cancun at around 9 o'clock. The ride was bone-shattering! In fact, Cancun, Tulum, and the attractions are roughly a triangle. You can imagine that people departing from Cancun are First In Last Out, traveling so much more. For your reference, the last tour member to be picked up got on the bus around 07:30 and got off around 16:30.

The trip was great, the tour guide was professional, and everything was a wonderful experience.

Thanks to our guides Rodrigo and Rogelio, we had a fun and informative time. Rodrigo, who passionately led us throughout the long tour of over 12 hours, was really great. Thanks to the tour, we were able to learn more about the Mayan civilization. It was a very happy time to eat a lunch buffet full of Mayan food and enjoy water activities in the cenote. If you are planning to stay in Playa del Carmen, I recommend Amigo Tour's program.

I highly recommend this tour. Many places to visit and absolutely amazing. The tour guide, Jonathan is nice, enthusiastic and knowledgable. I prefer having him again if booking next time. I love Cenote so much

The worst experience I’ve ever had booking a tour through Klook. The title of the tour and the actual package details were completely different—the package did not include the buffet lunch! My original booking was canceled, and I was asked to switch to this tour instead. The representative told me that they could change the booking directly, but I was worried that I wouldn’t receive a new booking number, so I decided to book the same tour again myself. However, the tour I booked did not include the buffet lunch at all. I also heard from other travelers that the lunch break was only about 40 minutes, which was extremely rushed because it was combined with the time allocated for cenote . On top of that, if you depart from Cancun, you won’t arrive back until almost 10 p.m.（The tour guide and driver was good!) Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, and the tour information on Klook was misleading and inconsistent with the actual package.

the sites are amazing. the guide prefers to speak in spanish making it hard for the english speaking guests to follow. tje itinerary was supposed to be 4 stops it became 3 stops only where we just passed by Valladolid. so this is a disappointment. bring umbrella to chichen itza it so hot unless you want to rent one - every move here requires payment. the lunch buffet go straight to the eat all you can tacos which will make it worth it
