Good trip if you want to take photo with the cherry blossom. Dun need to solo travel as there is mini bus which will fetch you around different places for photo taking.
Tiff from Edison tour was very nice and knowledgable. She managed to take care of everybody on the tour even though everybody wanted to do a everything a little differently (some wanted to sit out some of the hiking parts) The flowers were mostly bloomed when we were there. But I heard that it was already less than 50% of the previous week, but it still was alot for our first visit.
We managed to see cherry blossoms and it was the main purpose or our trip. Although it was a rainy day, the guide Leia took good care of us. Really appreciate that she showed us where are the nice blossoms and good food. She even gave us oranges after a heavy meal, really appreciate that! Happy that we managed to see beautiful flowers despite the rain all day.

Tour guide did not give any explanation at any site! Also made us sit a public bus despite having a tour bus chartered! Totally unprofessional and not worth the money spent!

Originally, this kind of group with no admission fee and no lunch included was purely for convenience and didn’t need to think about traffic problems. Who didn’t know that the tourist bus dropped us off in Tamsui at noon and disappeared after lunch? At the Yun bus station, I lined up with other citizens for a bus. After waiting for half an hour, 100 people were forced into a bus. This was the first time in my life that I had to take a bus with a group. It is worth HK$500 for a few tour bus rides plus an intermediate bus, and it is not recommended to participate at all.
