Reviews
Location was not the most convenient. But was it worth it? Absolutely. Watched Jimami Tofu and was pleasantly surprised to have the director and actor of the show there to host the night! Even managed to snap a picture with them (see pictures below). Turns out they were the one who started Cinewav Seaside Cinema. Movie itself was quaint and interesting. It really evokes awe in the simplicity of Okinawa's food and landscape. The location definitely added to the atmosphere. I loved the concept. And you'd think that sitting out in the open would feel sticky in Singapore's humid weather. But it was surprisingly quite cooling (maybe because it was by the ocean) and the views were mesmerizing! Went there with a friend but could see how it'd be a good idea for a date night! Unfortunately, with the new condo developments at Keppel Bay, Cinewav at this location will only continue till May before being forced to relocate. So do book before it closes! Only tip would be: bring mosquito repellent! My O blood got me stung 3 times :"
It was definitely a great experience at cinewav! Even though it was drizzling, they provided a huge umbrella (enough to cover for 2 people) on the seats. There was even a photobooth for us to take photo :)
Great experience watching a movie under the stars and by the waters! The audio played and synced perfectly. We also liked that we can bring our own food.
Fast and hasel free redemption, great deal, cheap, easy, good buy, highly recommend, will buy more if have
was a good experience watching movie under the night sky, albeit at mercy of weather. was cancelled twice due to rain before finally having a clear weather on third try.
Bought this for 1 for 1 using dbs passion card and the date was for valentines day. Was a LB and Cinewav collab. We arrived around 7pm and managed to get a 2nd row seat as it is free seating. I liked that chairs was placed in pairs so we had some privacy. No food sold there. Brought our own food and cooler bag with drinks and placed our stuff on a picnic mat we brought along. another couple ordered mcdonalds via grab. Managed to catch the sunset and there was a nice photo booth to take photos at. Went to toilet at the main building before the movie as it is a short walk away would recommend to go before movie starts. I also brought insect repellent and wore pants, not bitten by any mosquitos. Parking available at the main building then a short walk to the cinema. have to use our own earphones and the cinewav app to listen to the audio of the movie. was well synced. umbrellas provided but lucky for us rain stopped 2h before. was very cooling and breezy I needed to wear my jacket. Enjoyed the experience very much!
Lovely venue, managed to rush down in time to catch the sunset before the show. Fuss free ticket redemption process through the app. If you are prone to mosquito bites, rmb to bring insect repellent!! The staff were kind enough to spare us some since we weren’t prepared.
A unique experience watching a movie under the stars. Very comfy and cosy chairs. There was also a scenic sunset view to watch before the start of the movie. Staff was very helpful and polite. Highly recommended.
fun and comfortable experience! maybe would’ve been better to bring a wired earpiece cause bluetooth earpiece might run out of batt in a 2hr+ movie haha. might be a bit chilly at night also, remember to bring an outerwear!
Dabao your own food in and enjoy the show. Love the space. Hope Singapore continue to organise such outdoors shows. It was a great experience
