it was a great experience for us. have seen the Dolphins and the best was snorkeling: have seen variety of fish and the only turtle we saw. We have a very good guide while under water taking the go pro photos. Virgin island not impressive coz there is private property which does not allow anyone to go walking in the beach front. The overall experience is best and we enjoyed the tour.
super worth it! our van met us in mcdo Alona to take us to the port together with the other tourists. You’ll have your own private boat for the island hopping, you get to decide where you’d like to stay longer. First stop dolphin sight seeing. At first, of course I did hope for us to see the dolphins so I asked ate our guide from the start what the chances are, she didn’t make any assurance but mentioned that hopefully they will show up as they are considered wild animals, lo and behold we have seen a lot of them in different places afterwards, they were like playing with all of us! It was breathtaking!!! Next stop Balicasag here we met another kuya (Anthony) who took us to the snorkeling area, you’d see how excited he was to show the Pawikan to us everytime it will be spotted. 3rd stop Virgin Island (another view island to behold) it has the white sand bar but since it was high tide when we got there, we decided to just stay in the island where our children can enjoy swimming. 💗
From the driver, to the boatmen, to our snorkeling guide, everything was a 10/10. When we went, it was very windy, the tides were high and the waves were strong so we didn't get to see any dolphin nor visit Virgin Island. The boatmen were very apologetic about not being able to do any of those activities but we already understood that beforehand because it all depends on Mother Nature. It was my first time snorkeling and we had very good guides with us. We also opted to rent a go-pro and our guides captured wonderful pictures and videos of us and the sea creatures! I am very satisfied!
Took this in July amidst rainy season. Picked up comfortably by a sedan with a friendly driver. guides are helpful. didnt get to see dolphins due to the weather. saw sea turtles and small fishes while snorkling. we enjoyed it even with the gloomy weather.
Thanks to our boat guides, kuya Erwin and Eric. They are very courteous and accommodating. The dolphin watching and island hopping were awesome! We were blessed to sail on the calm waters and perfect weather, most especially to spot the dolphins! Although we were not able to see and walk on the sand bar of the Virgin island because it was still high tide in the morning, we were able to enjoy the crystal clear waters for a shallow swimming :D . The only thing that we wish is to have other activities for those who will not go for snorkeling. Also, the quality and price of the seafoods on the island can still be improved. Thank you Klook for a well-organized and safe trip you have provided us. My family who are senior citizens enjoyed the views and nature tripping.
was picked up at our airbnb around 5:45am. waited a little over 1 hr at Panglao Port for the coastguard to clear the boats to go to sea since there was bad weather (was raining since early morning). departed at around 7:15am from the port. no dolphins anymore. no sand bar at Virgin Island as it was very high tide due to rains. but it was still a nice stop before the Turtle and Fish snorkeling at Bacalisag Island. The waves are quite strong so it was extra tiring. but the water was still clear and it was really nice seeing many turtles and fishes. renting a GoPro for 1200 was worth it to have nice pictures. they have efficient process for transferring the pictures to your phone (no need internet). would be nicer if you have fins so you can swim deeper with the turtles and fishes.
we had a great time and felt so special as we had big boat for the three of us. We were able to watch the dolphins, see the pawikans and enjoyed snorkelling with school of fish around us. A very memorable experience you made it hassle free klook thank you I will forever use ur serivice for my travel needs
I received pickup information the afternoon before the tour. The driver arrived at the hotel on time. Depart from Panglao Port by motorboat with a boatman. The boatman carried our luggage and lent us earplugs. We might not have been able to see dolphins, but we saw more than one pod of dolphins up close! Communication was good, with the boatman asking if there was enough watching time and if I wanted to see more. When I moved to Balikasag, there was another snorkeling guide. Joseph was so funny and friendly! He spoke very little Korean haha. He kept taking pictures and guiding me through poses. The entire snorkeling was enjoyable thanks to the guide! We also met two turtles. You can buy lunch at Balicasag, but the food is expensive and not very tasty. I think it would be a good idea to pack something to eat. It will be cold when you get on the boat after snorkeling, so bring a beach towel. It's unlikely that anything on the boat will get wet, so feel free to take whatever you want with you. Next on your itinerary is the Virgin Islands, where you can freely take pictures and explore before returning to Panglao at your own convenience. There were too many people in the Virgin Islands and there wasn't much to see other than the scenery. Both the boatman and the guide were the kindest and funniest guides I met in the Philippines, so I gave them a lot of tips. I recommend it👍🏻

The experience was really breathtaking. We booked the day before, veey early in the morning, but didn't get any message or instructions until very late in the afternoon, which was kinda stressful since we didn't know where to go or what to bring. Hotel pick up is only included in the fee if you are within their location, otherwise you have yo pay for a van fee of ₱600. We arrived at the drop off location few minutes before 6am but had to wait since the guide wasn't there yet. We were lucky to chance upon a group of dolphins and had fun dolphin "watching" aka dolphin chasing 🤣. Balicasag island looks like a typical diving island but the reefs and marine life close to it was a feast to the eyes. We also followed a pawikan into the deeper parts of the reef, which was pretty amazing. Virgin island was pretty with it's long sand bars and occasional mangrove bunches. Overall it was an amazing experience.
