Panglao Virgin & Balicasag Islands Half-Day Snorkeling Tour

This package included lunch, and breakfast was a simple bread and Sprite. I especially loved the barbecue on the boat. I booked this boat specifically after seeing a blogger's barbecue, which saved me the trouble of asking around once I got there. The communication before departure was very smooth, and our guide on the day was excellent. They started grilling the barbecue on the way to Balicasag Island, haha, it smelled so good! My boyfriend and I both love Filipino grilled pork and chicken. There weren't many people on our boat that day, just six of us, so the experience was great. However, sometimes there might be more people, as I've seen larger boats too. We didn't rent a GoPro, but the guide recorded videos and took photos for us for free. These were taken when we went diving again after returning from Balicasag. I can't swim, but I fell in love with snorkeling and even fed the fish. Oh, and we saw many dolphins and lots of sea turtles, as well as sea snakes. The experience was fantastic! Since I love barbecue so much, I spontaneously decided to write a good review. It seems many local tours don't include lunch, so it's a good idea to confirm that in advance. This is for everyone's reference.

It was an adventure worth the time and money spent! We were extremely lucky to see wild dolphins while cruising. We were also able to snorkel and see some marine life and corals without having to worry about the heat, it was a perfect day to do the activities indeed. The food served onboard were also delicious and plenty enough for all of the guests. Our boat guides were also accommodating and made sure we were hydrated all throughout our tour. I highly recommend this tour while you’re in Panglao!

Had a good time on the tour! As they mention in the details, Virgin Island is closed. We didn't end up seeing dolphins unfortunately (also fine - it is noted that this is based on luck a bit), but the snorkeling at the first stop included 30 minutes for seeing fish and then 30 minutes for trying to see sea turtles (also requires some luck - but we got to see some!). You do have to wait a bit for that first stop to get a tour guide to go with smaller groups; they require it and there's a little wait for an available one, but ours was nice and took go pro photos for us. You do also need to make it clear you want the go pro videos - tell your captain before you go with the guide. We went to a final location which had okay snorkeling and had lunch there. The crew was really kind. There was a woman who got really sea sick and they were very nice to her and tried to help. Additionally, our guide brought us sea urchin to try which was delicious and really fresh. Also just an FYI - the fins didn't fit me so I didn't pay the additional rental for them and was fine without.

It was such a great experience! We were able to see dolphins (luckily they made an appearance, 3 sea turtles and a lot of fish and other sea creatures. It was my first time snorkeling so I panicked but luckily our guide helped me and eventually I was able to calm down enough to enjoy. Food cooked onboard was also really delicious. Would be great if they can brief those snorkeling for the first time how to put on the mask and position the mouth for the tube. But overall I highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful and memorable experienced during our Bohol boat tour. From the transportation, drivers, guides, swimming instructors/life guards they were all professional, trustworthy, hospitable, patient, polite and helpful. They made our trip memorable and busog much.

Highly recommended! Best snorkeling ever!! It was the best snorkeling I've ever done.. The guide was kind and basically explained in English, but he knew simple Korean, so if you know a little English, there's no problem communicating at all. When we went, Virgin Island and Punta Cana were closed, so instead, the snorkeling points increased, and thanks to that, we were able to do a tour that included napalming. ㅎㅎ When we went, there were only three groups, so it wasn't that crowded, and the guide took great care of each group and took a lot of pictures with a GoPro!! He even took pictures of deep water areas with my phone for me :) Compared to Korean companies, the price was very reasonable, and they even provided pick-up and drop-off + lunch + free GoPro filming, so it was really the best!! You really have to do this. It was the best of our Bohol travel itinerary. The ocean is so beautiful.. I think I understand why the Philippine ocean is the best in Southeast Asia 👍🏻 Oh, but you might not be able to see dolphins depending on the weather (we didn't see them ㅜㅜ) But everything else was so great that it wasn't a shame. Really, really, really, really, really, really!!! do!!!

The tour was worth it. The local operator communicates frequently and addresses concerns immediately, The fish feeding and turtle watching was so fun! Sadly we were not able to go dolphin watching due to the bad weather. The food also was great! Overall it was a great tour.

We really enjoyed this trip! The program is rich, there are many activities, everything is well organized. The team is just great. Dolphins, snorkeling with fish and turtles, magnificent corals - we did it all. And although there were a lot of other boats and people on them, no one bothered us, there was no fuss. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

We were very lucky on this trip to see dolphins out at sea, and snorkeling we saw various tropical fish and marine life. Beautiful islands and beautiful people, this itinerary is super worthwhile. The lunch was plentiful, and vegetarian options were also provided with ample food. The staff provided good service. Itinerary arrangement: Although the hotel pick-up and drop-off service is very attentive, the car is too small, and passengers bump their heads when getting in. Carpooling, however, some people were not ready, but others had to wait in the hot car. I hope the arrangements can be more comfortable and convenient.

Great experience! the guides were amazing, food was good, Balicasag Island is great for snorkeling (saw turtles). Pontod Island is closed and knew in advance, changed for another snokeling spot
