We enjoyed our time tasting the different of types of beers and knowing more about beer while waiting for our "barley tea" to cook. The host Tom is knowledgeable and quick to answer all our questions. Can't wait to try our first self brewed beer, hope it is good and we can explore new self crafted beer in the future.
Nice experience and highly recommended! He was patient in answering our questions too.
We are so glad we found this event on Klook. Absolute fun activity especially for beer lovers. One learns the nuances that go behind making a beer, cherry on the top being you get to create your own! Tom, the host, is knowledgeable and gave some great tips. Highly recommended.
Highly recommend to people who are interested in brewing beer! You can drink and learn how to make it since covid has made us more grounded. Tom was really knowledgeable and helpful!
Highly recommended for those wanting to learn how to homebrew. It definitely is great value, considering the numerous beers you get to sample as well. Tom is knowledgeable and passionate about craft beers - and made it a very entertaining 90 minute session. Unfortunately our homebrews did not turn out great since we had a stuck fermentation and it turned out flat (recommended that you keep it in a hot area considering the strain of yeast used). The dead yeast cultures did make good fertilizers for plants though!
Had an amazing and fun time at this home brewing workshop conducted by Tom! Beer lover or not, this workshop is really interesting and insightful, Tom was also very engaging, friendly and knowledgeable, making the workshop an even better experience! Not to forget the beer tasting, where we also got to try out 6 different types of beer! Definitely no regrets in signing up for this!
It was so much fun to learn about beer and beer brewing. You will get to taste different beers and gets to know what’s your favourites! Brought back my own brewing beer and can’t wait to taste it after 10 days. Beer brewing course is rare in Singapore. Highly recommended!
I listened to it with a friend who likes beer. The explanation was fun and I was very satisfied with the whole process of making it together. It was harder to make than I thought, and the taste of the beer that I could take home and taste two weeks later was...^^ It was better than I thought, but I thought I would get sick if I drank it all, so I threw it away haha. Still, each person can make about 1 to 2 bottles of beer. If you take good care of it when you get home, you will be able to produce more delicious beer. The beer tastings in the middle were mainly basic beers, but it was nice that they explained the differences while tasting each type.
An interesting insight into learning how to brew your own beers! very informative and many beers to bring home!
Fun and interesting experience, highly recommended! Got to try different types of beer and make our own. Really enjoyed our time there, will try other workshops in the future :)
