Review for: Berchtesgaden and Obersalzberg Day + Rothenburg and Harburg Tour from Munich

We did the short hike starting from Eagle's Nest at Berchtesgaden, the weather was sunny and clear, and alpine views were really breathtaking. Our guide Bea was really good in providing us background about the history of the area during WW2. We also enjoyed the audio tour at the documentary centre which was built on top of a WW2 bunker. It would've have great if we could have more time to complete the audio as we were short of time.

The scenery along the way is very good, but unfortunately the weather is not good, the pit that has not been changed to change is very interesting and recommended

Review for: Join-In Tour

Poor weather caused the view from the top to be non-existent. The guide could not stop talking about how nice the view would have been like if the weather was better which made the tour worse.

Review for: Join-In Tour

The tour guide was nice and did her best during her trip even though the weather wasn’t in our favour. I agreed with most of the reviews except one of it that makes me ponder on why Klook or the travel agency is not or unknowingly not transparent with the euro 20 dollars per person that the tour guide got from us to take the elevator up to the eagle nest. The website should stated clearly or the package should include this charge. When I review this website again, it didn’t stated this additional elevator charge of Euro 20 dollars per head. Perhaps there’s a miscommunication between the travel agency and Klook, however I would strongly encourage Klook to review this with the travel agency so that consumers like us have a full transparency of this investigation if Klook wish to pursue further. I am not sure if I may have a reply on this but this review is to provide on the actual encounter for consumers who may be caught off guard that the whole entire trip ( not withstanding own expenses) is fully paid for. Accountability and transparency is what most consumers will look into as this trust maybe impacted.

Reply from Klook

Thank you for choosing Klook and taking time to leave us with a review. Kindly be reminded that there would be detailed terms and conditions for each activity. Please note that it has been stated on the package information under the "Not Inclusive of" section that the admission fee for the special bus and the elevator to the Eagle's Nest (EUR20) is not included in the package. We appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation. Thank you!

We had a very nice day tour to Eagles Nest and also had a good driver and a knowledgable guide Ursula.

Review for: Join-In Tour

The tour guide is very cute, the sights are actually only the eagle's nest; the leader will tell you when you are going to the bus to go to the bus station to wait, but the team from the Eagle's Nest elevator takes a long time, we reserve 20 minutes waiting But missed the down bus, but the good DB staff are willing to let us take the next bus back. Under the panic, it was hard to catch up with the mountain, only to find that everyone was eating and waiting for the bus to return to Munich at 15:45. It is recommended that future guides can spend more time in the eagle's nest instead of rushing down to eat and visit the archives!

Review for: Join-In Tour

The tour guide is very responsible, introduces the details, and also said a lot of historical background. The scenery of Berchtesgaden is very good. Unfortunately, due to weather problems, I could not go up the mountain and only went to the salt mine. The salt mine has nothing to look at.
