- Quanzhou South Shaolin Temple, founded in the Tang Dynasty, is the birthplace of the Southern Shaolin martial arts. It boasts a long history and profound cultural heritage. The scenic area features a serene environment, red walls, ancient temples, and magnificent architecture. Visitors can watch authentic Shaolin martial arts performances (inside the Performance Hall) and experience the unique charm of "Zen and Martial Arts in One." After the performance, they can visit the Shaolin Zen Taste Space to enjoy a special vegetarian buffet and experience the "Zen taste" dietary culture. The temple houses numerous historical relics, making it an excellent place for praying, sightseeing, and learning about Shaolin culture.
- Introduction to Martial Arts Performance and Dining Route: Visitors enter from the west gate of the temple and walk to the Performance Hall (navigable via map). It is recommended to arrive at the Performance Hall 15 minutes in advance for ticket check-in and to watch the 4:30 PM Shaolin martial arts performance (approximately 30-40 minutes). After the performance, visitors can go to the "Shaolin Zen Taste Space" vegetarian buffet restaurant next to the Performance Hall for dining (dining hours: 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM).
