What to expect
When you come to Jiuzhaigou, don't just admire the landscapes. You must experience a high-end cultural feast unique to Jiuzhai—the [Princess Wencheng Banquet]. The entire performance is meticulously directed by Shi Wei, a national first-class director (chief director of the 2023 Universiade opening ceremony, core producer of the Sichuan Song and Dance Theatre). Inspired by the national treasure "Emperor Taizong Receiving the Tibetan Envoy," and with the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter as its narrative thread, it fully recreates Princess Wencheng's three-year journey to Tibet, starting at the age of 16. Ten acts progressively unfold, immersing the audience in the multi-ethnic customs of the Han, Qiang, and Tibetan peoples along the way. Every frame and every painting embodies the grandeur of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and the romance of the snowy plateau. After watching, you will understand the epic history of the millennium Han-Tibetan marriage alliance. Enjoy a five-star hotel and a high-end customized hot pot feast, one pot per person. - The Tang-Tibetan ancient style makeup experience is not available for children under 4 years old. Thank you for your understanding. Children over 4 years old are charged the same as adults.
- The banquet ritual includes dance and music performances and a serving ceremony, with one dance per dish. Seating is limited, so please reserve your seats at least one day in advance.
- Given that dining is accompanied by dance, show, and music, guests with infants and young children may want to consider this to avoid disturbing their rest.
- Alcoholic beverages are available (not provided to minors). Highland barley wine is only provided to adults.
- If some dishes are unavailable due to seasonal reasons or other irresistible factors, we will replace them with equivalent dishes. If you have any dietary restrictions, please inform us at least one day in advance, and we will try our best to replace them with other dishes.
