Transfer to Sapa:

• After your arrival at Lao Cai station, the train staff will guide you to the shuttle bus
• Shuttle bus (16-seat minivan - Ford Transit): approximately 70 minutes

What to expect:

• Noise: The train can be quite loud throughout the journey, including the sound of wheels on tracks, occasional banging from underneath the carriage, and ambient noise from other passengers in nearby cabins.
• Vibration & Bumpiness: The track conditions cause noticeable shaking and swaying. This is normal and not a sign of mechanical issues.
• Sleep Quality: Light sleepers may find it difficult to sleep through the night. Most passengers describe the experience as "an adventure" rather than a restful sleep.
• Cabin-sharing rules: Cabin sharing with strangers (mixed-gender)
