Eligibility
Free Policy
- Children: Audiences under 18 years old. Those under 16 years old must be accompanied by at least 1 adult. Each adult may accompany a maximum of 3 minors. Adults must purchase tickets separately. Valid identification proving the minor's age must be presented.
- Students: Audiences who are 18 years old or above and are in a stage below university undergraduate level (excluding adult education) can enjoy discounts with a valid original student ID.
- Seniors: Spectators aged 60 and above can enjoy discounts with valid identification; accompanying family members must purchase tickets separately.
- Soldiers: Active duty Chinese soldiers enjoy discounts with valid original identification.
- Persons with disabilities: Enjoy discounts with valid original certificates; if accompanied by family members, tickets must be purchased separately.
Booking limitations
- After purchasing tickets, individual visitors must present their original valid identification documents; if the ticket, document, and person do not match, our museum will refuse entry.
- Visitors holding passports and Hong Kong and Macao compatriot documents must bring the original reservation documents when visiting. Only after verification can they enter the museum.
Additional information
- Security check upon entry: Before your visit, please cooperate with the security check and accept staff management. Please properly store any food and drinks you are carrying; do not bring them into the exhibition hall. Please do not make loud noises or chase and play in the exhibition hall.
- Self-guided tour: During your visit, you can use "WeChat Scan" to access the graphic and text self-guided tour.
- Photography and Exhibition Requirements: When visiting, please do not touch display cases or exhibits; please do not use flashlights, tripods, or other equipment. If you have photography needs, please contact our relevant staff in advance to assist you in obtaining a photography permit.
Deposit Service
- If you need to store your personal belongings, please contact our staff. Before storing, please ensure that the stored items do not contain any valuables, as well as flammable, explosive, easily damaged, fragile, or odorous items, food, etc.
- To ensure the safety of cultural relics and other visitors, please cooperate with the open-box inspection and registration service for deposited items. At the same time, staff will also assist you in storing other items not suitable for entry into the exhibition hall.
- The baggage claim tag is the only proof for retrieving your bag. Please keep it safe. Our museum is not responsible for any financial losses caused by the loss of the baggage claim tag.

Due to inter-museum exchange needs, the original bronze animal heads from the Old Summer Palace and some bronze artifacts from our museum's collection will be exhibited in Zhangzhou City and Harbin City. Please follow our WeChat official account for information on the return date of the cultural relics to the museum for exhibition and related activities in the 10th-floor art exhibition hall.
