- Please note that the funicular train service can get congested, especially during peak travel season. It is advisable to factor this in when planning for your trip to our park.
- In adverse weather conditions, where safety is compromised, we reserve the right to close the park without notice
- Last entry for Standard Entrance Ticket holders will be at 17:30
- Visitors entering after 17:30 will be required to purchase an Evening Walk add-on ticket at RM18 per pax
- Non-Evening Walk (Standard Entrance Ticket) visitors must exit the park by 19:00
- Evening Walk visitors may exit at any time via the main entrance (front gate). The park officially closes at 21:00
Please note:
- Sunset views and night walk experiences are weather-dependent and cannot be guaranteed
- When the weather is favourable, Evening Walk visitors will have the chance to enjoy the sunset and join a complimentary Night Walk
- The Night Walk begins at Curtis Crest around 19:45 (once it is sufficiently dark), lasts approximately one hour, and ends at the main entrance by 20:45
- Please be informed that The Habitat Penang Hill will close earlier at 15:00 on 9th July 2026 and open later at 10:00 on 10th July 2026. We appreciate your understanding and recommend planning your visit accordingly.
- Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue
- Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue

Penang Hill is definitely a must visit as it is one of the highlights to have good 360 view of Penang which is accessible at the habitat. Remember to save the QR Codes to your phone gallery, if you are booking for your family members, make sure each voucher is saved to their phone gallery. This is because there might not be enough internet signal if you access the voucher directly through klook app once you are at the entrance of the habitat. To save time, better to have the QR codes saved so you can just scan it to pass the gantry without worrying about connection. Otherwise, you can connect to their wifi.

Our habitat penang Hill experience was amazing and memorable one. We went to the station by grab and bought our train ticket going up and when we reach up there we took photos and walk around.After that we went up the Skywalk and the view is mesmerizing and it's a great experience.

Went early to avoid the the crowds and also so I could by the slow funicular ticket and now have to wait long. The habitat was excellent saw some monkeys and butterflies. Had amazing views on the skyway of the tropical forest. Definitely worth going if you go to Penang Hill. After completing the walk a golf cart picks you up and returns you to the starting point.

Just have to scan Klook QR code at the entrance to enter. Best to screenshot the codes before arriving as need to scan before and after visit. There’s a few points with wifi as there isn’t much mobile signal throughout the trail. Beautiful and easy walk in Penang Hill. Definitely recommended! Quite a few monkeys so do keep your food. There are also a few water points.

While the entrance fee is on the higher side, the well-preserved environment and unique experience make it well worth the visit.

A great place to visit. You probably need about 5 hrs to see it all and take in the atmosphere. You need to buy a ticket for the Funicular railway which is return. I think you can walk it, but the railway was fun, if not a little busy. The queue went down quite quickly though. You can purchase food and drink there, at reasonable prices. The views are spectacular and ones that shouldn't be missed. It may pay you to take the photos once every one had finished as its gets a bit manic. Once you've walked the Habitat you can get a free shuttle bus to the Funicular railway again. It is possible to walk it, if you're feeling fit.

This was an experience I wasn’t planning on doing in Penang but so glad I did. The walk around the Habitat included some canopy walks and lots of other things to see such as a Butterfly park. I managed to see a lot of wildlife and walking through felt very calming.
