Kampar White Water Rafting Adventure

An absolutely successful adventure – highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Kampar white-water rafting tour was simply amazing! We arrived at the pickup point half an hour early, but were still picked up perfectly on time after just 5 minutes. Our driver was also our rafting guide and incredibly nice. The entire team made sure we were doing well at all times. The safety briefing was very thorough, so we always felt completely safe in the boat. A huge plus: even though there were only three of us (with a 10-year-old daughter), we got our own boat! They generally make sure that each group gets their own boat, which makes the experience even better. They also took really nice pictures and videos of us. You don't even need to bring valuables or cell phones; you can safely leave everything at the office. An all-around successful excursion that I would definitely repeat. I can only recommend it to everyone!

Although there is no Chinese tour guide, the tour guide speaks fluent English and is very considerate and takes care of us. We need to take a taxi to the expressway entrance and leave by ourselves. He will take you to Gopeng Town.

Last minute decision but it was a great one. We were contacted via WhatsApp on the details e.g. place to meet, things to bring, and even a video of how to get to the venue after entering a small road. Awesome experience with a very experienced rafting guide Doodi, who made sure our rafting experience was filled with laughter but yet safe. Would highly recommend anyone that wants a fun filled activity at Ipoh to try this out with Riverbug. Only 45 mins drive from Ipoh town

All the staffs are superb friendly and nice. 2 days before the activity, RiverBug sent me messages to confirm my booking together with the details like what to bring and transportation. They waited at Gopeng Toll and lead us to the place. The place is quite deep inside, so it is good that they guided us in. We were the only 2 people who booked for the activity on that day so we had a “private” water rafting session. We were so lucky to have 3 guide/instructors to raft with us. Our main instructor, Dodie is a very nice guy. He gave us a very thorough briefing. Our safety is his priority. We had so much fun and enjoyed it. Besides, BBQ lunch was provided. They served rice with egg, ulam, Vege, 2 types of BBQ chicken, sausage, fish and banana. Good one. The toilet and bathroom arw very clean. Definitely will come back again. Our guide picks us up from the hotel and get us ready to put on the gear . We have a briefing how to use the equipment and the safety measure . We have even a test run by our guide before we did the actual rafting.

Very good service overall. The coach is attentive and professional, making the whole rafting experience feel safe and enjoyable. Waiting and shower areas are clean and well maintained. The meal provided at the end is delicious and more than enough. Highly recommended!

This was a very well organised and run activity. Great communication even though we booked very last minute (evening before). We booked the lite package and we were able to leave our belongings in the office, which felt safe enough. The guides were fab and respected our request not to capsize us. One of our party was very nervous and they were very supportive. We were provided with video footage and photos included. It was great fun, we all LOVED it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Riverbug Asia!

It was the monsoon season when we visited Ipoh. We were lucky that the weather cleared up during our rescheduled slot. The customer service team was also very prompted in updating us on the status of the activity.

Such a great experience for my family and I. The communication was excellent, the guide was fantastic, both making sure it was fun, but also very safe. The equipment was in good condition and the experience was so much fun. Lunch was delicious and they catered for my vegetarian son. I cannot recommend this enough. It was so worth the money and helped to make our holiday a memorable one.

It was very scenic, and pleasant. The rafting was conducted very professionally and it was adventurous. The instructor was helpful. There was a barbecue lunch after rafting and they even catered for vegans, when requested beforehand.
