Prambanan Temple and Merapi Kaliadem Day Tour in Yogyakarta

It was perfect! Our driver is Danang and he was very polite, spoke very good English, and took care of us very well. Prambanan temple ground is closed on Mondays (only the park is open) and the tour agency was flexible enough for us to do another temple nearby. We also had a chance to visit famous local cafes with a view of Merapi and the temples. I went with my Korean family and they were all very satisfied. Highly recommended tour!

Due to raining when we reached Merapi Jeep activity, we did not stop for group photo taking. Although a bit disappointed but we are still enjoyed as this is new experience to us. At the Prambanan temple, we only visit the main temple out of 4 temples. The other 3 temples more smaller(refer to photos).

Mount Merapi is often shrouded in clouds, so it's best to leave early if you want to see the volcano's full shape; the Prambanan complex is very well-maintained and offers an excellent experience.

Our driver was Prima, very happy and jolly person. He drove the vehicle carefully and helped us around the temple campus.

Highly recommended trip, especially because Mr. Aditya made our journey particularly pleasant and caring. His English is excellent, and he contacted us a day in advance to suggest leaving earlier to avoid the sun exposure. Thank you for his expert advice.

These are nice places to go to when you visit Jogja. The culture, scenery and people are very welcoming. It was raining when we went there but nothing can stop us from having lotsa fun. We are able to rent a bicycle and cycled at Prabunam temple, feed the deer and walk around the temple. It was indeed a very enjoyable trip. I would like to thank Mr Wahyu for being an awesome guide. Should you require an English speaking guide, I highly recommend Mr Wahyu. He will even provide you a better itinerary should you have not plan any. Thank you Mr Wahyu.

The driver was very punctual, patient and polite all the time. It was raining in the morning when we were at the Merapi but it was still fun because it was a different experience. The jeep ride was especially fun at the Kaliguning river...wet plus more wet. We went for breakfast at a nice place near temple where we had a good brunch while the driver waited very patiently for us. By the time we got to the temple, the rain has stopped, so it was a nice walk and plenty of time to take photos of the place.

Prambanan is definitely worth a visit. Taking a Jeep tour around the outer areas of Mount Merapi allows you to experience the wonders of nature and respect its power.
