What to expect
SingaPop! is an immersive multimedia exhibition celebrating Singapore’s vibrant pop culture journey over 60 years. Curated by cultural icon Dick Lee, the exhibition tells the story of how a young nation of diverse immigrants forged a unique identity that is distinctly Singaporean.
Since gaining independence in 1965, Singapore has defined itself as a multicultural society comprising Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasian, and other communities. The exhibition's five chapters explores how these influences have blended into a shared identity—one rich in heritage and creativity that is sometimes referred to as the ‘rojak spirit’—an unmistakable embracing of differences to create something unique.
SingaPop! brings to life the evolution of Singapore’s everyday culture— from hawker centres to music, film, fashion, Singlish and annual National Day Parades. What began humbly now represents Singapore on a global stage.
This exhibition is a joyful celebration of life, SingaPop! asks visitors to reflect on what makes Singapore so unique. The answer is simple: the people, stories and traditions that bind us and continuing to shape the place we call home.
SingaPop! is presented by ArtScience Museum, and mm2 Entertainment, and supported by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA)

A fruitful day for us to visit the SingaPop! Exhibition at the ArtScience Museum, with the SG Culture Pass credits. SingaPop! has indeed brought us through the 60 Years of Singapore Pop Culture, telling us the story of our multicultural 'Rojak' society being evolved into a united and dynamic cultural identity.
Singapop is a vibrant and nostalgic exhibition that celebrates Singapore’s pop culture through the decades. I really enjoyed the mix of music, art, and interactive displays — it brought back so many memories of old local hits and iconic moments. The curation was thoughtful and fun, with lots of photo-worthy spots and engaging storytelling. It’s a great experience for all ages, whether you grew up with these songs or are discovering them for the first time. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Singapore’s music and culture! 🇸🇬🎶
I was amazed at how the exhibition turned out. I got to explore many classic and familiar things there such as the Past-and-Present TV Shows we Singaporeans grew up watching and NDP in the past till today. Every little thing this exhibition has makes every visitor's visit a memorable one.

Enjoyed SingaPoP with my daughter. It brings back many old memories and I could share those old memories and songs with my young gal. Love how we could play the juke box and so.e games with the token. Just that the name your own stall name games were abit difficult for the elderly.
sad thing that selfie stick n tripod stand all not allowed.some staff were very kind as there is no queue so helped me take photo eg Michelle. There was one staff who told me off her duty was to guard the place not to take photo for me.then reluctantly took one photo and took it badly.end up I need to approach visitors to help me take photos..
Very informative and interactive experience to transport one into Singapore’s pop culture history.
