Chasing Dawn - Cameron Highlands Sunrise & Mossy Forest Tour

Guide Kathir took us to a great spot to see Dawn and sunrise at the BOH tea plantation site, he shared history on the site and we had a good time. Guide Ben gave us a botanical tour of Coral Hills (Mossy Forest was closed due to the floods), I learned so much from Ben about many of the plants, trees that have medicinal value, act as insect repellents or were poisonous in the forest. Good mix of hike and ecology! The hike itself was "easy" but a little muddy and there was some scrambling and going under low spots so not for the faint-hearted.

Our journey was made truly memorable by Srivenash, an exceptional tour guide and driver whose dedication and patience was evident at every step. He navigated each route and stop with calm professionalism, never failing to be attentive to our preferences, and never once made us feel rushed or overlooked. His knowledge of the attractions and destinations, paired with his warm and courteous manner, added a reassuring ease to the entire experience. The itinerary itself was beautifully balanced, thoughtfully blending moments of nature, adventure, and breathtaking sightseeing. We have to think more than thrice and withhold our collective breaths if we were ever to enlist the assistance of another tour guide and driver in the future.

We were so grateful that the weather wasn't rainy or cloudy to catch the sunset. Mr Mike was a friendly & excellent guide - he drove to the location, and gave us so much of fascinating info. He also helped us take some photos. We were thankful for his recommendations on places to visit and eat at based on our preferences. A memorable experience!

Driver was punctual and he brought us to the road side mountain for usxto wait for the sunrise. He was our driver for the whole 8 hours.

It was an interesting experience visiting Cameron, however, for just one trip up the hill to watch the sunrise for 15 minutes and then return to the hotel, 50 RM per person is too expensive.
